Well, first, I've always liked writing.
Second, my favourite part about it is getting to explore new characters and settings and just basically making up something to think about when I'm bored and not in contact with Wattpad. I like to daydream- it keeps me happy.
Third, yes-I do read a lot of books other than my own. I'm currently reading Wish You Well by David Baldacci. Everyone says I'm a book worm, but I like to just think that I'm "special", if that makes any sense...
