Kian POV
The three of us still sat crammed into the park bench. I still couldn't believe I was in New York!
"Hey what do you think Sam and Lauren are doing?" Chris asked randomly.
"Enjoying being a couple before Sam goes and kisses another girl" Ashley laughed. The sad part was that she was right, it probably wouldn't be long before Sam messes something up.
I laughed. I never really got to see Ashley be herself without Lauren around, I mean, she wasn't any different, but you just get to focus on her personality when she's not around her cousin.
"I could really go for some froyo right now" I whined hoping someone would cave and g with me to buy it.
"When do you not." Ashley teased. " But I could too, I'll go with you"
"I'm going to go head back to the hotel to grab a jacket." Chris said as he got up and stretched.
Ashley and I wandered around looking for a frozen yogurt shop and ended up in a small shop in the less crowded part of the city. We both got our yogurt and went to the register.
"Here, I got it" I said pulling out a 20 and paying for both of ours.
"Thanks kian,I owe you" She said wrapping one of her arms around me briefly.
We found a cozy booth to the side and randomly started talking. It was easy having a conversation with her.
"Hey, where's Chris? It's almost been an hour and a half..." Ashley trailed off, her brows furrowed. It was cute. Wait what, did I just think Ashley was cute?
"I don't know, I'll call him" I replied pulling my phone out of my pocket. Within a few rings Chris answered.
"Hello?"
Hey dude where are you? Ashley and I are still at the fro yo place.
"Oh shi- sorry I fell asleep, I'm still tired from the flight since I never really got to rest after."
I glanced over at Ashley while Chris rambled on about some random crap. I guess she didn't know I was watching her. She studied her phone intently, her face suddenly lighting up when she came across something. I was curious as to what it was.
"Okay bye" I said hanging up. Noticing that the call was over, Ashley quickly locked her iPhone.
"So where is he?" She asked.
"He fell asleep" I laughed.
"Nice one Chris." Ashley giggled back.
"Do you want to walk back to the hotel now? I think Chris was saying something about hanging out in his room" I stated.
"Sure." She said with a small smile. You know when you look at someone, and suddenly you realize soo many new things about them? Well that was happening to me right now. Why hadn't I ever noticed Ashley?
Why hadn't I ever noticed her perfect smile and adorable laugh and beautiful eyes?
"I'll be right back, I'm just going to use the bathroom before we go." Ashley said, leaving her phone behind.
I unlocked it, curious to see what she was soo happy about. A picture of the two of Chris had taken popped up on her twitter. I guess Chris had tweeted it.
The picture was when we were shopping and picking outfits for each other. We both looked genuinely happy. I smiled at the picture then quickly put her phone back before she returns.
"Ready?" Ashley asked as she grabbed her things from the table.
"Yup, are you okay with walking? I can call a taxi" I suggested.
"No it's fine, I like walking" Ashley said with a small smile.
It had been about 30 minutes, the hotel was an hour walking distance away. We were both laughing our heads off at the stupid things one of us had said.
"Oh wow it's cold" She exclaimed while rubbing her arms to stay warm.
"Here" I said unzipping my hoodie and placing it around her.
"Thanks, but it's okay. I don't want you to get cold" Ashley protested. She was so thoughtful and kind, and it drew me to her more and more.
"Don't worry about it, you can just hug me to keep me warm." I said putting my arm around her shoulder. What the hell why did I just do that?! I started regretting my action until she smiled.
"Fine by me" Ashley answered as she wrapped her arm around my waist. This felt nice.
"So what's it like being Lauren's cousin?" I asked out of wonder.
"It's great." She said bluntly.
"Buuuutttt?" I asked, waiting for more.
"But I don't know, she's an amazing cousin. It's just that sometimes everybody's attention is always on her. Everybody thought she was perfect and a good role model and smart and pretty..." She trailed off.
"Hey, you're pretty too" I said nudging her softly. She just nodded.
"Sure but I don't compare to Lauren, I get it.....so what should we do at Chris's?" Ashley asked quickly changing the subject.
"Hey don't think that" I said grabbing her hand and stopping her.
"Your just as beautiful as her, if anything, more. Trust me" I spoke looking into her eyes. She stood still for a moment before abruptly getting up on her tippy toes to give me a kiss. It felt right.
"Thank you" she whispered, leaning her forehead against mine and biting her lip.
Sam POV
So in my situation I had two options: I could tell Lauren now and possibly have her break up with me, or I could try and hide it from her and risk her finding out later. I think I'll go with the second.
"Do you want to go back to the hotel now? I could ask kian to switch rooms with you so we could go and hangout." I stated swinging our interlocked hands back and forth.
"Sounds perfect" she said as she planted a kiss on my cheek. It took us a few minutes to get back to the hotel.
"Is that kian and Ashley?" I asked looking over at a couple kissing. Kian and Ashley? Never would've seen that coming.
"I don't know" Lauren said maneuvering around so she could see their faces.
"Oh my god it is." I gasped as they turned around. Lauren suddenly dropped her hand that I was holding.
"Let's go up" she stated bluntly. What was her problem?
*Lauren POV*
I felt like I was going to cry. I needed to get away from this lobby as soon as possible.

Let me know down below what you want to happen. What is Lauren so upset about? Do you think Kian and Ashley will last? Is Eric coming back for Ashley?
ON AN IMPORTANT NOTE-
I have decided to delete my new Kian fanfic and create a Luke Brooks one instead. What do you guys think about that? I absolutely adore Luke and wanted to try something different. I haven't written anything yet, but I'm working on the prologue as of now. I'll update you guys when it's ready!
