A life without you

Chapter 3

Soul is out for a walk with Crona and they talk about random stuff. After they have lunch Crona goes back to her place and Soul comes home.

Soul's Pov:
After Maka left I've been so worried about her. I think to myself as Blair walks in to the room carrying something in her mouth. She leaves it but my bed side table. After she leaves I read it and stand straight up.

"Oh my god", I grab my jacket and run out to my bike. I ride to the hospital and run inside. "I'm looking for Maka Albarn." I say to the lady at the desk.

"She's not awake right now but if you want to see her, she is on the fourth floor", she says and I run to the elevator. I remember the room number and ran straight there. I walk into the room looking at her. She looked so peaceful. It was the first time in a long time I'd seen her like that. The doctor walked in after I sat down.

"Are you Soul "Eater" Evans", he asked looking at his charts

"Yes, sir I am", I look at him worry filling my eyes. He looked over his charts and waved for another doctor to come in.

"So this is the girl", the new doctor says walking over to check Maka's pulse.

"Yes it is", the first doctor said as he brought in some medicine. I hold Maka's hand as he gives her the shot. I didn't know why but I felt like I needed to. After the doctors left, Maka started to wake up.

"Hello, beautiful", I smiled and brushed her hair away from her face. She opened her eyes and looked over at me.

"Soul", she smiled and I leaned down and kissed her forehead.

"How are you feeling", I asked looking into her eyes.

"I'm ok", she tried to smile. My phone started to ring and I stood up.

"I'll be back, beautiful", I said and walked out to the hall. "Yes, Lord Death?"

"I need you at the academy now", Lord Death said on the phone.

"Why, sir", I asked looking back in to the room. Maka smiled at me and I smiled back.

"There is an emergency, we need you here, please soul hurry", Lord death hung up before I could say anything else. I sighed and walked back into the room.

"Maka, I have to go but I'll be back in a bit", I said kissing her on the forehead again. She just nodded and smiled. I turned and ran out of the room. I knew something was up so I rode straight over to the academy.

Black*star's Pov:

I was laying in bed with Tsubaki when we got the phone call. It was Lord death. Tsubaki and I got dressed quickly and ran to the academy. When we got there Stein and Spirit were standing out the waiting for us. Soul pulled up a few minutes later and we all walked up together.

"We are sending you and Kid on a mission", Stein said to us all. "And Soul you have to go." Soul nodded but you could tell he was pissed off.

"What is the mission", Tsubaki said as she grabbed my hand to hold it. Tsubaki and I had been dating for 3 weeks now.

"You guys are going to kill a witch", Spirit said, "But she is no normal witch. She is controlling people into to killing others. She was the witch the caused Maka to be jumped yesterday."

"Well that's all I need to know", I said remembering all the blood Maka had lost. Spirit and Stein gave us the general area, then we all waited till Kid showed up. After Kid showed up we told him everything. He had been gone on another mission and had just gotten back.

"We'll start tomorrow", he said and we all nodded. We agreed to meet here at 8. I hope Maka will be okay without us around for a few days.

Ok guys, I love you guys so much for staying with me. So I'll be finishing my first story and start more work on the ones I have started. I hope you guys like this. And please tell me if I should do a Tsubaki and Black*star lemon/story of their own. There will be two lemons in this story but not for a few chapters. So if you don't like them then just skip the chapters with those and I'll leave a little summary if need. And tell me if you guys have other animes you want me to write about.
