character sheet

note: this part is entirely up to you if you would like to read. this is just a character sheet so you can understand the characters a bit and get more of a 'feel' for them. if you would like to skip this part then that's cool, just go right on to chapter one. but for those of you who are staying to read this please just know that this is only of the major characters, not side characters.

Character Sheet:

Henry Isaac Bailey: Seventeen, turning eighteen May 15th. Black hair (dyed), green eyes, light dusting of freckles under his eyes and on nose. Big, plump red lips that have scabs on them because he has a habit of picking/biting them. Henry is tall, around 6'1', and loves short guys. Skinny, no abs. Big hands, slender fingers. Has a tendency to draw beautiful things (ex: James, James, and more James).

Favorite bands: The Front Bottoms, OH! Hello, Beach House, and Husky.

Favorite color: blue, like the sky in late afternoon after it's rained for a few hours.

Favorite food: macaroni and cheese, with extra cheese.

Favorite drink: green tea with two cubes of sugar; nothing more, nothing less.

What he looks for in a guy: Someone who is sweet and nice. Someone that will listen to all of his problems and rants and won't ever get tired of them. Someone who won't ever get tired of him. Someone that will love and cherish him forever. Someone that will hold him whenever he needs to be held. Someone who will laugh at his jokes even though they're not that funny. Someone that will put up with him through thick and thin. Someone who will be his lover and best friend.

Style: Vans, sweaters, and skinny jeans. Will sometimes wear button ups under the sweaters because he knows that James likes them. Really likes socks, he's obsessed with them.

Extra: Likes it when people kiss his nose and forehead. He thinks hickeys are really cute and longs to have them he has no one to give them to him so he rants about this to James a lot all James thinks about is how he wants to give them to him. Really likes it when people play with his hair. Likes nature a lot more than he should, he's always drawing the beautiful things he sees in his life and most of the things that he draws has to do with nature or James; sometimes he'll even combine the two. Really likes to watch James sleep, he likes the way he slightly twitches in his sleep, or how he breathes through his mouth instead of his nose, he likes the loud sound it creates; he finds comfort in it.

James Edward Todd: Seventeen, turning eighteen August 3rd. Brown hair, brown eyes, very tiny freckle a couple inches away from his left eye (Henry loves it). Big red lips, always chapped from the harsh weather. James is short for a guy, about 5'4'. He's skinny though and has small hands and tiny fingernails that Henry adores. He loves reading, god it's his favorite thing to do (besides watching Henry).

Favorite bands: Bon Iver, Troye Sivan, and Bright Eyes.

Favorite color: yellow because it's the color of the sun and he loves anything that has to do with the sun. (Henry once drew him a very detailed picture of the sun and ever since then it's been his favorite thing.)

Favorite food: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

Favorite drink: water.

What he looks for in a guy: basically everything that Henry looks for.

Style: Vans, skinny jeans, art hoe/Tumblr shirts, lots of sweaters, jean jackets are a must for his when he's wearing his art hoe shirts.

Extra: Really likes it when Henry plays with his hair. Henry only does it when he thinks that James is asleep but sometimes James wakes up from it and Henry doesn't realize that. Is a very big supporter of trans youth and is very popular on Tumblr because he is always helping out a lot of kids. He likes to watch Henry draw; he likes the way that his eyebrows furrow in frustration whenever he's trying to get something down and it's not going the way he wants it. Or the way that he bites his bottom lip when he's really in the zone. Or the way that Henry can stay up for hours just drawing and not even realize how much time has gone by. He also likes it when it's the early hours of the morning and it's already raining and you can't tell when the sun has risen because there are too many dark clouds in the sky and they are all blocking out the sun. And even though James loves the sun so much he sometimes needs a break from it, just like the sun needs a break when it shines down on people. He believes that's the reason that there is rain: because even the sun needs a break.

Allison Jean Roth: Fifteen. Blue hair (dyed), brown eyes. Short, about 5'1'. Isn't the skinniest but isn't the chubbiest; she has meat on her bones. She has an unhealthy obsession with getting James and Henry to date and her and Zeus are always trying to get them together. They even came up with a ship name "Hames". Black, and is very proud of it. Wears lots of oversized sweaters and leggings. Best friend is Zeus and has a tendency to beat up anyone that is rude to him. Is starting to question her gender, later finds out that she is agender (they/them pronouns).

Zeus Avery Willows: Fifteen. Brown hair (later on he dyes it blue to match Allison's), brown eyes. About 5'3', he desperately wants to be taller because he feels like he will look more masculine but he won't grow anymore. Zeus is trans, he was originally born a female. His birth name is Anna and I'm only saying it because he ends up having a problem with one of his teachers. If it wasn't part of the plot, I wouldn't have said anything because it is no one's business; fiction or not. Best friend is Allison and they spend most of their time trying to figure out ways to get James and Henry together (they have a bit of an obsession).

Holly Farah Todd: James's mother. Long brown hair, brown eyes. Is more than accepting about James being gay and secretly wants James and Henry to get together. Is cool with James having Henry sleepover even when she finds out that they are dating. She even lets Allison and Zeus come over and would let them sleepover but their parents are uncomfortable by it because James and Henry are males.

Rebecca Willows: Zeus's mother. Short blonde hair, blue eyes. Is accepting of Zeus but is a little confused about the whole gender thing. She doesn't really understand it but all she wants is for her son to be happy so she's okay with going out and buying him guy clothing and calling him Zeus. But she sometimes slips up and calls him Anna or uses female pronouns but she is still trying to get use to everything.

Tanner Henry Bailey: Henry's father. Is accepting of Henry but doesn't allow sleepovers or hang outs at his house. Isn't in the story that much but is still an important character.

Mr. Estep: The cool teacher that is super accepting andlet's the squad (Henry, James, Allison, and Zeus) eat in his classroom duringlunch. An activist for anyone in the LGBTQ+ community. Gray hair, blue eyes,lots of wrinkles. Sort of old, 54 years old, but is still the coolest teacher ever.
