Extra Love

Surprises?

Fred and I just stood there, staring at the view. It was weird, because I felt like someone was watching us. Fred suddenly turned around and said, "C'mon out guys, that's so lame." I turned around, looking at the exit of the roof and there was nothing there. I felt confused for a moment, but after Nathan, Kal, Tom, Andrew and Matt tumbled over each other, I knew exactly what was going on. They were jealous of me talking to Fred! That has to be it or maybe... 

"Are you guys secretly, you know?" I asked, all of them and raised an eyebrow. 

They looked at each other, puzzled and looked back at me. "You know?" I said as I did the clicking sound on my togue and raised my other eyebrow.

They just looked even more confused. "GAY!" I shouted, giving them the You-Are-So-Slow look.

They waited for a few minutes, taking in the GAY word. Everyone laughed and shook their head. When suddenly, Tom spoke up with his head down, "Um, I-I L-Like, NO! L-Love a g-girl.." His voice was shaking. Now there's something you son't see everyday! Nathan put his arms around Tom's shoulder and announced that he, too likes someone. Same goes for  Andrew and Kal. Here I was thinking, 'I am the only one who actually likes someone'. Well done guys! My curiousity just grew higher! 

Everyine turned to Fred and Matt. Fred continued admiring the view, ignoring everyone and Matt just whistled, "I have a Girlfrend." My heart throbbed. I knew that ages ago! He doesn't have to show off. "So, when are you guys gonna confess to the lucky girl?" I asked just to break the silence and to forget that Matt ever said that.

Instantly, all of them looked down, did I asked the wrong question? "Hey, um wanna head back to class?" Nathan suggested. 

I shrugged. After a blink, every single one of them vanished. They should really enter a magic show, they disappeared right before my eyes! I scanned the rooftop, hoping someone was left behind or something, but no one was. All I saw was me, standing alone, on the rooftop. I think I saw a tumble weed. I sighed, I guess i'll just end up being alone again. 

I decided to skip 2 periods, just because I can. I lay down on the rooftop's dirty, ugly cemented ground and I eventually entered dreamland. 

I was in my mansion and yes, I am rich but no one knows. I was all alone in the mansion, my parents died from a fire. I could've helped them. I saw them screaming, more likely begging for help, and yet what did I do? I ran out of the mansion, didn't even bother to call the fire brigade, just because I couldn't memorise the number. I am so helpless, clueless, dumb. Why do I need to suffer? My life is already had an unfortunate start, and I don't want to know how it ends. 

Wait, what is this? A hand is reaching out for me. It looks warm, big, gentle, kind and all that I've ever wanted. Who is that person? Why is he helping me? Is it out of pity? I hate people who wants to help me, out of pity. The pitiful eyes, makes me want to puke. Yet, why that hand is here? I reached out to grab that hand. It was just out of reach, when suddenly a voice spoke, "Don't worry, I will wait for you." Then, the hand came close to my face and it pinched my nose.

"OW!" I screamed as I rubbed my probably red nose.

I woke up and the first thing I saw was a figure of a tall man, staring at me, it was blurry so I couldn't make out his face. I quickly rubbed my eyes and found myself alone on the rooftop. I slowly sat up. I swore I saw someone standing here! Who was it? I quickly shook my head, hoping to forget whatever I dreamt. 

I quickly glanced at my wristwatch. 12:43 p.m. Have I been sleeping for about 4 hours?! I hate dreams that take a long time, even though its a short one. I have to wait for another 3 hours! What a pain in the arse. I looked up at the blue sky.
