07; dreams

    Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

    How many of you have dreams? I know I do. I have dreams of becoming rich, having a Christian family, and having a job that I love when I'm older. In order to accomplish them, I will need to work hard and strive for my goals. But I cannot do it without God.

    How many of us, daily, ask God to guide our future? Not many, including me. But as I was reading a book written by the lovely Jackie Kendall, I can across something that really struck me. It's that we should lay all of our dreams at Jesus's feet. Our human nature tells us that we can achieve these things on our own, but we actually can't. Not without Him.

    So if you are one of those people who strive for something amazing to happen but didn't display or tell God about it, do it now! He will bless you and greatly appreciate your trust.

    Closing Prayer:

Dear God,
Thank you for giving me the ability to dream. Without it, I would have nothing to strive for in life. But sometimes I forget that you are the one controlling my future and I forget to tell you them. Please help me to come clean and trust in you with my most prized dreams. I ask this in your holy name, Amen.
