Giving up or Breaking up

Chapter 6

I open the door and it was Star.

Yessss!!!

"Hey Lily, where were you? I thought I didn't have a roommate. Omg I am so glad that you are my roommate."

Seeing her there with her being so nice. Ohhh I feel so happy that I might cry.

"Starrrr~!" I exclaimed as I pulled her into a hug.

"Mmmmmhmhh you are suffocating me."

"Oops sorry, its just that I had a bad day today, I meant the meanest people in the world." I said.

"Oh, what happened?Do I need to get a weapon for this" She asked.

"Hahaha, No" I said laughijg for the first time in such a long time.

I told the whole story that happened to mex after we met each other.

"Omgg, I had always looked up on Clara. I can't believe she said that." She said with her eyes wide open.

"Yeah, I couldn't believe that either. I mean how can someone be seen so nice on the outside and so mean on the inside."I said

"Wow, I know, and I can't believe those girls did that. I'm so sorry Lily. If u had know that, I would have defend You."

"It's ok, I don't want to get on their bad side either."

" Are you hungry? I could make you something."

"No, its ok. I already ate." I said.

"Oh alright."

"Im so exhausted, im going to sleep now, but I will unpack tomorrow. "I said and yawned

"Ok, Im gonna go make some food cause im hungry."

"Oh ok." I said as I grabbed my pajamas.

She left and I went to get a warm, relaxing bath.

Jacob's POV
I tried to call Lily, but she wouldn't answer. I wonder if that mess have made her upset.

I should have been more careful and I shouldn't stupidly made us enter that contest.

Now It just made me not be able to see her and her adorable smile the one that can light up a Christmas tree.

After Clara dragged me to go eat with her and this constant yapping about how much she missed me and her usual gossip.
Ever since I saved her from being trapped in the house that was on fire, she have always been stuck to me like glue always involving in what ever thing I am in, sports, clubs, friends.

I'm not really related because my aunt married Clara's father when he divored and already have Clara. They would always come visit us and stay for a few days in our house. One day when I came home from school, my house was on fire.

There was firetruck trying to diminish the fire and I was worried. My mom and dad are still in there! I told the firefighters, but they said the fire is too strong and they have already send someone in.
Suddenly I heard voices crying for help inside there. I ran I. My house.

"HEY! LITTLE BOY, DONT GO IN. ITS TOO DANGEROUS!!!"

Too late I already went inside and there was smoke everywhere. Fire have reached the ceiling.

"HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME." A small girl crys.

Then I saw my mom teappes bsy the wooden planks that have fell and crashed on her feet.

"Mom!" I said

"Jacob, go save Clara first." She said

"But-"

"Go!"

"Ok, but wait for me and don't giveup. I will call someone to save you."

I went to save Clara and got her out.

"Your parents are still stuck there, I saw your dad in his room on the top." She said as she breathes heavily.

I start to run, but someone stopped me.

"Please let me go save my parents, they are still stuck there." I said.

"Im sorry. I will get someone there."

Someone did go up there, but the whole house collapsed in front of my eyes with the firefighters and my parents.

I couldnt believe what I just saw and that was the most tragic thing that ever happened in my life. I moved to my aunt's house with Clara and her dad.

I have been living with them for so long and Clara to me is like a sister that would always follow me everywhere.

Lily is different, she is giving me a different feeling. She have actually care about how I feel and seem more like a girl to me than Clara.

Lily's POV
Shoot! While I was preparing to take a nice, hot bath after that torture of going upstairs, I dropped my phone!!!

Gosh I blamed myself for not getting a waterproof case. Now I have to get new phone.

I quickly fell asleep, after putting on the face mask.

The next morning, I woke up feeling sore around my arms and legs from yesterday. Star was already awake and was putting on makeup. She seems very girly like wearing a bright pink skirt and a pink bow on her hair today which is not like me. I don't like wearing very bright, shiny colors.

I guess Star is like the opposite of me in fashion, but she is cute and innocent.

I heard a knock on the door and I opened it. There was a bouquet of lilies laying in the floor.

"Ummm, Star, I think these lilies are for you." I said as I picked it up.

"Really? I dont think so cause I'm not really a fan of lilies."
