Happy Birthday!!

Reiko's P.O.V:

"Oyeee wake up!"

"What the hell.... " I said squinting my eyes to look at the person who just woke me up.

Seriously you should never wake me up cause the next time you won't even be able to walk properly.

"Reiko come on! We seriously need to do something before your mom kills me. Please." Sarada said jumping on my bed.

Oh no you don't. I'm so not gonna help you. So I closed my eyes again rolling over.

"Pretty please." she said again, and this time I pulled the covers over me.

"Pretty please with a cherry on top." well I couldn't just leave a friend in need right? So putting my anger aside I got up to help her her cause my mom could be really scary at times.

"Yes? What's the problem?" I said raising my eyebrows.

"Oh about that.... Let's just say I'm in deep shit right now." I grinned.

"Eh... shit you say but I don't see any on you so how can you be in deep shit?" hey its my right to annoy her right?

"Shut up" even she couldn't keep a straight face at my childishness. Well I made her smile...

"Okay" I said while pretending to zip my mouth up.

"So the thing is that I was here last night when you were asleep, don't ask me why. But while I was here I kinda broke the vase your mom bought last week, I know I'm an idiot who couldn't even sneak in but still as my best friend it's your duty to help me so can you please help me get away with it?"

I sat there staring at her face, grinning, as she waited for my reply.

"What!? Say something, you're creeping me out." she said glaring at me.

At this I pointed to my mouth, for a moment she stared at me, dumbfounded, but then she got what I was saying.

"Oh God! Why do I have an idiot for a best friend. Not that I'm not an idiot but seriously how stupid can she be"

"You're talking as if I'm not here. You do know that I'm here right?" I said trying to keep a straight face.

"Okay okay sorry, but I think we're getting a bit off topic here so let's stick with the topic before I get murdered."

"Oh yeah about that. Just forget about it. Mum would probably forgot about it after a while too."

I said stating the obvious cause mom seriously doesn't put a valuable thing out like that so she probably wouldn't mind if it broke.

She just stared at me for a while then after nodding said a quick goodbye and left.

Well then it was just, myself and I for the day then. I might as well just go get some fresh air.

Today was my birthday but I don't think anyone remembered not even Sarada because she's usually the first one to wish me. And my mom wasn't home neither was my dad. I think they were busy dealing with village matters. Even Haru was at a mission, so no one wished me. But who cares!

You....

My inner self retorted.

Now that I think about it it was really lonely. So I decided to visit Shuu.

I rang the bell quite a few times but no one answered so I gave up on that idea. It was getting late so I decided to go home and just read some book.

Today I took a day off thinking it would be fun, but everyone seemed to be busy so I didn't mind.

I went home but, seeing that there was no one back yet, so I went straight to my room.

That was one heck of a lonely day and that too had to be my birthday.

Doesn't it seem a bit too cliche that the protagonist is left all alone on her birthday but on the end of the day she is surprised by all her friends and family when they just throw her a surprise party.

Just the difference is that I'm no protagonist and this isn't a fairytale. (lolx Reiko if you only knew yours is)

What was that!? No one's home so where the heck is the noise coming from?

Shit! It's creepy. Don't tell me my life is turning into a horror story.

Clink!

Wait is that noise coming from the window.

As soon as I went and opened the window a small rock came flying towards me and hit me square in the face and believe me it hurts. Even though I'm a ninja but well I'm human so I'm bound to be a bit lazy right?

After what seemed like forever the pain lessened and I looked for the person who did this. He's so gonna regret it, but sadly I only saw his back cause he was running away. So I followed him.

And as soon as he saw me he made a run for it.

Oh no you don't...you can't just run away from the fastest chunin of Konoha, now can you?

I was catching up to him when I saw him stop. The place where we stopped looked different but seemed familiar.

There was a forest and the trees were really thick. I couldn't see properly due to the lack of light but there was a small wooden house and I think I saw that guy walk inside so I followed him.

What I saw next was pretty much shocking.

"Happy Birthday!! " they all shouted.

It literally bought tears to my eyes. I thought they had forgotten about my birthday, but I guess I still mean a lot to them. At this thought I broke down and they all looked at me worried that they had done something wrong.

Well no actually you guys just made my life a whole lot better. I love you! Thanks...

"I think the rock really hit her pretty hard... " as soon as Shuu said that I couldn't stop myself from breaking into a fit of laughter, clutching my stomach I laughed like there was no tomorrow.

LOL here is it I hope ya guys like it even though it's too short and well too childish...

Other than that it's a bonus chapter for my best friend @Choco57 who had her birthday yesterday (25_12_15 the Same as Reiko's birthday) sorry gal it got delayed but still Happy Birthday! I love ya!
