Chapter 2

James' POV

I went straight to the locker room and opened my locker. Out of it I took my car keys, my hoodie and my college work.

From there, I walked out of the gym into the car park. I blipped my car open and walked towards it. I wasn't the sort of guy who was obsessed with cars but I still liked my sleek, white BMW.

I clambered into the driver's side and turned the key in the ignition. I had to get home fast so I zipped out of the car park and onto the road home.

I was still waiting for James to get home. He texted me about twenty five minutes ago so I knew he would be arriving soon.

James' POV

As I was driving home I began to feel guilty about dumping Amy.

It was a Friday night. I was at my friend Scarlett's house for her party. She told me there would be lots of girls there. I told her I wasn't interested because Amy was already my girlfriend.

I sauntered into Scarlett's house holding Amy's hand. As soon as we entered Amy spotted some of her friends and slipped away to have a girly conversation.

"My name's Ella. A drink would be lovely, thank you."

"I'm James."
