One girl and Four guys

Chapter 6

It was ten at night and I was on my laptop watching a movie. I was already feeling better thanks to Keith and his soup. Brett came in and I asked "How was your date?" He didn't answer, maybe it wasn't that good. He walked towards me and I stood up and he just hugged me. I saw as Tyler and Keith flinched. Why is he hugging me? He pushed me back still holding onto my shoulders and he said "So it's true."

I asked "What's true? What are you talking about Brett?"

He let go of and said "Nothing. Just wanted to check something out" and he climbed on his bed. Dylan asked "What was that about?"

I shrugged my shoulders and sat back down on my bed. What was that? Tyler said "Alex tomorrow morning bring me a cup of coffee and a chocolate donut."

I said "Why don't you get it yourself."

He said "Did you already forget." Oh yeah, I have to do whatever he says. I said "Whatever."

Dylan said "Oh me too. Thanks Alex." I smiled and said "You're welcome" and went to bed.

When I woke up I put on my shoes and left. I started walking when I found a Dunkin' Donuts I entered and started ordering. I bought something for everyone. I got back to the dorm and laid the coffee and the donuts on the floor. The guys were already up and I said "I bought donuts and coffee for everyone."

Tyler said "What took you so long."

I said "I walked. Just eat you donut" and everyone got up and grabbed a coffee and donut. When we were ready we went to school.

It was lunch time and I saw Keith seating under a tree reading a book. I sat down next to him and asked "What you reading?"

He said "The Alchemist."

I asked "How is it?"

He answered "It doesn't appeal to me. It's an assignment for English class."

I said "I've read it before."

He said "Maybe you can write my report for me."

I laughed and said "Maybe but you have to finish reading it."

He said "There's something I wanted to ask you."

I said "What is it?"

Tyler called out to me. What does he want now? Keith said "I'll just ask you another time."

I said "Okay" and got up and walked to Tyler I said "What?"

He asked "What were you talking about with Keith?"

I answered "Nothing. It almost sounds like you're jealous of him."

He said "Why would I be jealous of Keith. Go get me some lunch."

I said "I thought you hated the school lunch."

He said "Now I want some. You can give it to me at the back of the school" and I walked back in the lunch room. I brought the lunch and went to the back of the school looking for him. I saw him and walked to him and he said "What's this?"

I said "Your lunch. By the way you owe me $4.50."

He said "You eat it."

I said "But you told me to get it." I pushed the tray to him and the chocolate milk spilled on his shirt. I said "I'm so sorry" taking a tissue and whipping it. He dropped the tray and I said "I'm sorry."

He said "That was my favorite shirt" as he walked closer to me. I walked back scared until I was against the wall. He said "You want me to pay for this. Okay then" and he made a fist in the air. He threw it passed my head against the wall and kissed me. I opened my eyes shocked. When we separated I said "I'll get you another lunch."

He said "Forget it" and walked away. My heart is beating so fast, what is this feeling?

It was finally the weekend. Jade and I were at the mall trying on dresses. Which means I get to dress as a girl again, no wig, and no bandages. I was in the dressing room and she was in the one next to me. She asked "So what's the deal with you and Tyler?"

I said "Nothing."

She said "It can't be nothing if he kissed you."

I said "Well what about you and Brett. Ever since your first date he's been avoiding me. Ready to come out?"

She said "Yeah" and I came out and saw her. I said "That dress looks perfect on you."

She said "You too. You should buy that one."

I asked "So what happened with Brett."

She said "Don't hate me but I thought Brett knew that you were a girl so I told me."

I said "WHAT!!!!"

She said "I thought Tyler told him. He was talking about how you look feminine. I'm sorry."

I said "You're just lucky we're friends or you'd be so dead by now."

She said "But you should really buy that dress." It was a simply one shoulder black dress. I bought the dress and we headed back to Jade's place. She said "It's almost time. Get ready."

I asked "Where are we going?"

She said "It's a surprise. Put on the dress we just bought." I got ready and we got in her car and she started driving. I asked her "Why am I dressed so fancy and you're not?"

She said "Because I'm not joining you." When we got in front of the restaurant we got out and went in. We walked in and saw Tyler? I asked her "What is he doing here?"

She said "It's a date. Don't worry I'll pay the bill. Here's my credit card" and I took it from her and put it in my purse and said "I'm not going."

She said "Yes you are" and she pushed me to his table. I said "Hi."

He said "Is that really you? You look like a girl."

I said "Thanks I think?" and I took a seat. I asked "Did Jade force you to come?"

He said "No it was my idea."

I said "Really. I didn't think you were interested."

He said "I'm not. Your date's just running late so I'm here to keep you company until he comes." My date, if its not Tyler then who is it?
