Skyes POV:
We arrived at the new house. Of course when I finally pulled my headphones out, my daddy yells at me for being disrespectful.
Pftt right.
I look up at the gigantic old style Victorian house. How my daddy afforded this? I dont know.
It was beautiful.
I walk inside and check out the place. The wall's were a light cream color with golden curtains hanging from the Windows. Damn, Its like right out of the movies.
I walk up the staircase to look for a room.
After what seems like hours of looking, I finally settled in the room with a big beautiful tree next to the window. There is a house next to ours with a window alined up with mine.
I open my window and turned on some music. I started singing.
"We don't have to take our clothes off to have a good time Oh no. We could dance and party all night! and drink some cherry wine-"
I stopped and notice a not staring at me from the opposite window of me. He was tall and handsome. Around my age.
He was watching and listening. I kinda blushed cause he had witnessed me singing.
I closes my curtains and sat against the wall.
"Mama, I miss you."
The next morning my dad called me down for breakfast.
He was sitting and already eating without me when I came down.
I say down and poked my food with my fork.
Daddy sighs.
"Skye, eat." He says calmly at first.
I continue to poke it.
"Skye." He says more annoyed this time.
I continuously poke it.
"Skye!" He screams as he pick my plate up and throws it.
I flinch.
"What the hell is wrong with you? I know your sad but she's gone! Not coming back!" He yells.
I can feel my eyes already watering.
I run to my room and he follows yelling.
"Don't you walk away from me!" He slams my door. "Your a selfish Bitch! You think you're the only one sad? Cant you see it's killing me! I LOVED your mother!" He screams in my face.
I sob. "Just get OUT!" I scream. "I HATE you!" He slaps me, causing me to fall to the ground. I rub my cheek.
His look went from mad to regretful.
"I'm sorry Skye I-" I dont let him finish. "Just GET OUT!" I shove him out and slam the door. Sliding down it sobbing.
Through teared eyes, I can see that the boy who's window is right across from mine, saw the whole thing.
He looked at me with pity.
Well guess what. I dont need anyone's pity.
Alec's POV:
I heard a door slam from my new neighbor's house. I open my curtains and see the whole scene.
Whatever caused them to move here, must have been real stressful. Considering they brought it with them.
I saw the man also slap the girl.
I clutched my fists.
I may not know her but I sure as hell know that no woman should be touched.
She slides down the door crying.
I felt sorry for her.
She seemed so...lost So...sad.
"Alec! Come here honey!" My mom calls from downstairs.
"Yes mom?" She gives me a smile. "I am baking the new neighbor's a batch of brownies. I think you should take it over to them after I leave for work."
I nod and go back upstairs.
I finally get to meet her.
