Chapter 14: Fairies Tigers And A Mermaid

LUCY'S POV
(bring, bring)
I opened my eyes and yawned. I reached my arm over to shut the alarm clock off.
(Smash) Oops. Now I have to get a new alarm clock today. I tried sitting up but, something heavy was preventing me from sitting up. It was Natsu's arm, I was about to slap his hand off of me. But he grabbed my hand and pulled me close to his chest. I blushed, I just remembered what happened yesterday.
Flashback
"Natsu", Mira yelled out.
"What?"
"If you passionately kiss Lucy on the lips I will buy you a buffet table".
"Alright then", Natsu grabbed my head and dipped me. He smashed his lips into mine and we stayed like that for a few seconds until he let me go. He grinned in my face and turned back to Mira and yelled out, "You owe me one Mira!"
I touched my lips, "My first kiss. Is with Natsu!"
I started to sway, "How lovely".
I fell backwards into the ocean, but kiwi caught me.
"Lucy wake up! Wake up!"
Flashback Over
I rubbed my temples, that jerk only kissed me for food. I rolled off my bed and quietly tiptoed to my phone. I picked it up. How I'd it 10:45 already?!
Sure enough Mira realized to, I have 72 texts and 56 missed calls from her. I ran into the shower and had a quick 2 minute shower. I shook some mouthwash in my mouth and smiled in the mirror. My teeth look white, I passed my tongue over my teeth and they feel clean too. I opened my drawer and put on a pink striped crop top and light washed jeans. I put my belt on and put on my charm bracelet. I grabbed a mini backpack and stuffed my phone, some jewels, and my spell book in it. I put my slippers on and dashed out the door. Out there waiting for me was a pissed Mirajane. She handed me soggy waffle and some syrup packets.
"There's no time for breakfast LuLu. We are already making Yukino wait".
She grabbed my arm and dragged me into the elevator. On our way down Mira began to talk about how useful combat will be. But what we didn't know is that someone is following us

NATSU'S POV
My eyes shot open. Something is not right. I looked around the bedroom Lucy and I shared. Nothing seemed to missing. Wait it's Lucy! I put on my regular outfit and dashed out the door. I sniffed the air Lucy left a few minutes ago with..Mira?
I guess Laxus realized Mira was missing to cause he bolted out of his hotel room too.
"Hey Natsu, have you seen Mira?"
"No, but she's with Lucy. I can smell them not to far away".
"Then let's go".
We got into the elevator, Laxus pressed the ground floor button when I realized. I forgot to take my motion sickness pills. I started to bang on the elevator doors, Laxus pulled me back.
"What the hell are you doing Natsu?"
"I forgot to take my motion sickness pills. If Lucy were here she would have reminded me*blergh*"
The elevator went ding and started to go down. If I had a mirror, you would see that my face is a greenish, yellowish, purplish, blackish, bluish color. I started hurling all over the floor.
"Pathetic", Laxus mumbled under his breath.
"Hey!*blergh* Just cause I have*gag* motion sickness*hurl* doesn't mean *belch* I can't hear you! *hack*"
The elevator finally reached the ground floor, I flopped out and started kissing the floor.
"I missed you so much!"
My head shot up as their scents got stronger. I looked at Laxus and he nodded. We bolted out the doorway following the girls smell. Until we reached the buffet hall, and I saw them.
"LUSHE-- mmph!"
Laxus put his hand over my mouth and dragged me into the nearest bush. Lucy turned her head around to see no one so she just shrugged and started talking to Mirajane.
When Laxus took his hand off my mouth he glared at me, "What the hell Natsu?"
"Why are you what the helling me. I should be what the helling you. We found them, why are you dragging me into a damn bush?!"
"Don't be a dumbass. Don't you wanna know where the girls are headed. I mean it's obvious that it must be such a secret, since they left at the crack of dawn without telling anyone. ESPECIALLY us since we're their mates and all!"
I stroked my chin, "You make a compelling case."
Laxus's mouth dropped, "When did you learn such sophisticated words?"
"Well Lucy and I are basically always together so I picked some very smarter words from her."
He sweat dropped, "Well obviously you aren't spending enough time with her. Now let's see where they're headed too. We must be silent, stealthy, and deadly".
"Kinda like the fart I just dropped. Take a whiff".
I started to fan it towards Laxus and he slapped me on my head. "Just shut up and pay attention".
And old woman walked past us and started staring. Laxus blinked which somehow made her flinch. She quickly walked the other way keeping her down. I looked in Lucy's direction. Now let's see what you're doing today without me.
