Beep......Beep........Beep......... on the third beep I press the Snooze button. After the snooze alarm goes off I finally roll over in my bed and try to open my eyes but the sun is shining through my light blue curtains. to my terrible morning vision blinding. I reach over and grab the remote and turn the TV on. Just the normal boring new station and nothing good to watch on HBO.

I look around my small new york apartment room. Sky blue walls, white carpet a small wite chair sits, my white dresser with my TV and a picture of me, my mom, my dad, and my 12 year old brother Reagan he prefers Ray. Every time I look at the picture I break down in tears.

My mom and brother died in a car accident 10 years ago. My dad folded under the pressure and looked me out of the house one day when I came home from school. I knocked and Knocked but the only answer I got "go away and get the hell out of my life!'

I did not know what to do so I got in my car and drove. I drove and drove until I ran out of gas and had to stop in new york because I had no money.  I just got out of the car and walked. stopping at almost every drug store stealing some sort of alcohol or drugs.

One day a police caught me and took me too a foster house. 7 years I waited to be adopted. When I finally did the saw me break into their refrigerator stealing bottles of beer they gave me back. 4 more homes I went from Amanda Green to Amanda Blowse to Amanda Waggner and so on. Now i'm just Amanda. No family, no last name. a waited and waited 2 years went my and no one adopted me. Till Macy Cairses came and adopted me I have been living as 17 year old Amanda Cairses who goes to Blanemen high school who lives in a small new york apartment with her mom, dad, and secret on how she used to take drugs and was adopted and readdopted several times and is trying to live a normal life for once. Yeah normal teenage girl.

I get up and get dressed in a black shirk with a blue and yellow sweater, jean shorts, and brown ankle boots. I brushed my teeth put on my makeup and straightened my hair. I grabbed an Apple left for school.

Well the only good thing about being kicked out of my house and being adopted is waking up to the sounds of the city.
