Chapter 2- Survivors

As Sam and the others struggled to get out the car bashed into a couple of rocks.

"Mummy"shouted Ryan

"We are going to be okay" Replied Sasha

The cars bonnet suddenly fell apart as the car bashed into a big rock. Everyone was okay but they didn't know where they where. As Steven got out the car helping Sasha they helped their kids. I got out the other door. I found myself in a big bush i had Jaggies stuck in my arm. When I got out I noticed a few tents in a distance.

"Sasha, come here" I called quietly

Sasha came jumping through the bush.

"What is it?" She whispered

"Look ahead, a camp, I am sure there are some people."

"We don't know that for sure, there could be zombies!"

I went silent as I could hear a couple of voices in a distance.

"Can you hear that? I can hear a man talking" Said Sasha

"Shhh"

The man was saying " right guys I was driving round here to get to the camp and there was a car, I wasn't sure if it came down here, I know there was survivors, a couple of them. So that's why we are having a search party. Whoever finds them gets and extra bit of fish! But you need to come back with one of their heads!" Said the man

Sam and Sasha crawled through the bush Sasha told everyone what the man was saying, I then looked through the bush, I could see two people coming towards. We all began to run. Jim got stuck in sand.

"Mum help!"He called. Sasha told me to run ahead with Jack and Ryan and told me to wait for them at the tallest tree in the forest. Steven stayed with Sasha trying to get Jim out. As they got Jim out they could hear two people talking. They hid behind a tree.

"Well look what we got here a car" Said a women

"Maybe the one they survivors where in because I can't remember it here yesterday!" Said the man

Sasha told Steven to run with Jim.

"You guys go, I'll kill them from behind" Sasha said

Steven began to run with Jim. The women then noticed them. She pulled a gun out shooting Steven in the back of then leg. Steven had fell. Ryan noticed him in the distance. Sam ran to help. Jack feel on to a wooden door hidden under grass.

"In here" Shouted Jack

When they all got in they realised there was some food and a bottle of water.

"Jim try and find some bandages for your dad" asked Sam

"Is he going to be okay?" Asked Ryan

"Lets hope so." Replied Sam

"Found one" shouted a man in the distance

The man and the women then disappeared. Sasha ran to the tallest tree in the forest, no one was there. She started to panic and was about to shout for Sam. As she was about to shout a man came up to her holding her mouth.

"Do you want them to hear us?"

Sasha tried to get the hand away from her mouth.

"I will release, only if you are quiet"

The man took away his hand from Sasha's mouth.

"Who are you?" Asked Sasha

"I am James you gotta be quiet!"

"Why?"

"There's a camp over the river, its not safe, one of my good friends went there asking if they would like to trade some weapons for food, as me and my wife waited he never came back." Said James

"Do you have a camp?" Asked Sasha

"Yes come on, quick we don't want them to hear."

James took Sasha to a tree house that was hidden.

"How did you know I was there?" Asked Sasha

"I was watching you, I heard a gun shot, so I decided to come and investigate" Replied James

As they both climbed up a ladder there was a women, with a t-shirt with flowers on it.

"Who's this?" Asked the friendly women

"This is Sasha, those people where on the haunt for her."

"Oh my are you okay? I am Amanda."

"Have you s-seen about 5 boys'

"Oh yes, I heard them down on the ground about ten minutes ago, but I don't know where they went."

"Daddy? Daddy? Are you okay? Daddy?"

"SHUT UP!" Shouted Steven

"You are awake, I bandaged where you were shot, up about ten minutes ago, you saw the blood and past out." Said Sam

"Where's mummy?" Asked Ryan

"I don't know"Replied Sam

"She's not came?" Asked Steven

"No"Replied Sam

"M--maybe they people got her" Said Steven worried

"Me and Jack are going out to try and find her. We won't be going to far just stay calm."

When Sam and Jack got out, they could hear something, it sounded like people talking.

"Wait here Jack wait here!" Said Sam

Sam walked over to a tree.

"Hello anyone up there?"Asked Sam

"Sam it's me Sasha."

"Sasha!" I shouted

"Shh" Said Amanda

"Did you hear that?"Said a man in the distance

Sam turned around really quick giving Jack the signal to get back in the wee underground room.

"That's right I did hear that, I feel extra fish coming on"Said a women

"Don't just stand there get up here." Whispered James to Sam.

The sat in silence listening to the people's conversation.

"Hey look, it's a walker." Said the women

"Wait why don't we chop off its head and say we found it in the car back there at the river." Explained the man

"I like the way you think!" The women gave the man a kiss. The man then walked away going to kill the walker. He chopped its head off with joy, saying we are getting extra fish. They ran as fast as they could back to their camp

"Phew that was close" whispered Amanda

"I know!" Replied Sasha

"I thought we were dead meat there." Said James

"Lucky Ryan wasn't here, he would have started crying and got us all killed" Explained Sam

The four laughed and giggled. As Sam was going to get the others he realised there was a herd if zombies walking through the forest.

"Uh oh." Said Amanda "We ain't never gonna get out of here."
