Game Jumpers

Chapter 9

*Zach's POV*

We're back at school with different games.The parents believed we were going to Paris,France for two months.Meaning we can't go home for 2 months.

I still couldn't believe we were Game Jumpers.

Our schedule for this week is nothing.We get to hang out with our friends until next week.I decided that I wanted to go to Kenzie's house.

I  went and knocked on her door.There was no answer.I twisted the knob and it opened.I went in her room and opened the door.She wasn't in there either.I went downstairs and as soon as I got on the landing,I was hit in the back of the head.

I was soon welcomed to darkness.

*Kenzie's POV*

I hear someone knock on the door but I didn't feel like opening it.I heard it open.

I grabbed my baseball bat from beside my bed and ran in the bathroom.I heard them come in my room and leave.I went out the room and saw a shadow going back downstairs.I tiptoed behind them and hit them in the back of their head.I looked to see who it was and it was Zach.

Oh.My.Gosh.

I started panicking.I tried to pick him up and put him on the couch but he weighed like a ton.So I pulled him to the couch.I used all my non-existent muscles to put him on the couch.

*10 minutes later*

I heard groaning interrupt me from watching Powerpuff Girls.

I looked to Zach as soon as he opened his eyes.

"What happened?"He asked.

"You ran into a wall and fell down the stairs and you hit your eye on a lemon.But it looks fine."I lied.

"Did that really happen Red?"

"Of course it did."I lied making my voice get higher.

"Okay"He simply said.

He believed me.Wow.

*Zach's POV*

Of course I didn't believe what she said.I know she hit me in the head with a baseball bat.

"So...the Powerpuff Girls?"I asked.

She blushed and I noticed she was still in her PJ's.They were Spongebob PJ's.She had her hair up in a messy bun.

She looked beautiful.She didn't have on any makeup which made it all the better.I've developed a liking to Red and I'm too much of a wimp to tell her.

"I came because I was bored"I said playing with her hair.She was still blushing.

She got up quickly and asked if I wanted anything to drink.

I replied with a no.

*Kenzie's POV*

I really like Zach.

Him being so close to me was making me nervous.

I went in the kitchen and got some water.Zach came up behind me and trapped me by the sink.

He leaned down to my ear and whispered,"You look hot in your PJ's."I blushed and looked down.I had on my spongebob tank top and my spogebob shorts.

"Um...thanks."I replied.He turned me around.

"So whatcha been doing without me to protect you."He asked.

I hit his chest."I don't need your protecting,I can protect myself."
