I woke up on the couch. Sam and Dean were asleep. I thought about leaving. That's what I did. I grabbed my bag and wrote them a note. "If you knew the real me, you wouldn't want to protect me." Then, I left. It was a pretty ominous note, but whatever. I figured I'd never see them again.
I went as far as you could before my eyes began to droop. I knew they'd come looking for me. I had to keep an even lower profile because hunters talk and if a hunter sees you, they will report back to Sam and Dean.
"Room 27, $75", the girl at the front desk said, rolling her eyes. I handed her my fake credit card and she handed back my card and my key. This was going to be harder than I thought. I'd never actually hid from hunters before and I know they'll be after me based on my note and the demons.
I realized my safety is also gone because I left and with that thought... I sat my bag on the bed, grabbed my laptop and looked for hunts to take my mind off things. I found a hunt. There were children disappearing in the woods and that was enough to get me into the case. Then, I got a call from unknown number.
"Hello?"
"It's Dean"
"Dean. You and Sam just need to leave me alone. Look, I appreciate everything you did for me. I'll pay you back, I promise."
"Alright, Sarah. Listen. Really listen to what I'm about to say. We are coming for you. We're going to find out where you are. It'd be easier if you just told us. We want to help", the confidence and determination in his voice were clear.
"You won't find me."
"Oh, yes we will. It's only a matter of time."
I was scared. No. I was terrified.
