Chapter 24

Avery's Pov:

After yesterday in all honesty I was glad to get away from the boys for a while. Just standing near them I could feel the heat radiating of their bodies the tension between them was running strong. Not so much between Liam, Zayn and Louis but let's just say Harry and Niall had had a bit of a tiff and now they're ignoring each other, the talk between them is nil. Also Ruby hasn't said a single word towards Harry, I understand she hurt and all but it was really just one big mistake. It was let's just say extremely awkward. But on the other hand I didn't want to leave, America was amazing and also I didn't want to leave behind my Niall. 2 and half months was a long time away from each other. I had to go home though even though it was still the summer holidays but that was no excuse I had work and so did Ruby.

"Flight 137 Gate A is now boarding." The voice boomed over the speakers causing me to jump as I was in my own train of thought whilst holding Niall tightly in my arms. A tear begun to roll down my cheek at the thought of not seeing Niall every day.

"Don't cry babe. I'm going to back as soon as possible. In fact within the next month just to see you my little cupcake." He smiled tapping the tip of my nose with his finger, then leaning down and wrapping his muscular arms around me and kissing me on the forehead.

"I'm going to miss you." I replied with a weak smile probably showing of my one dimple.

"Me too Avery." He answered engulfing me into another hug.

I know this will sounds really cheesy and all but I think Niall is the one. The one and only, the love of my life. Maybe we would be together forever. Get married, have beautiful children and then have gorgeous grandchildren. I had this feeling when I was with Niall. He had that special sparkle that could make any girl go mad. But he is mine so no other girl was going to get him. I truly believed that he and I were going to be together forever.

I gave all the boys hugs, even Harry. I saw the look Niall gave him though when he hugged me. I wasn't annoyed at Harry but Niall surely was. They would make up in no time though so all is good. The girls were coming with us so no need to say bye to them just yet.

"Love you Niall." I shouted whilst handing my ticket over for the lady to check.

"Love you too Avery." He replied his hand high in the air and waving.

Ruby's Pov:

Avery and I sat beside each other on the plane. I still loved him. Like a lot. I understand it was a mistake but he made a move on my best friend! How could I not be annoyed? I was even annoyed at Avery, why I don't know... I just was.

"Are you still annoyed with me?" She asked me knowing fine well I was.

"Lil bit." I sighed emphasising with my fingers.

"I don't see why Ruby. It's not like I did anything wrong." She huffed using her hand actions which always makes me laugh.

"I know." I replied letting out a giggle.

"What is so funny?" Avery asked a puzzled look crossing her face.

"It's just that when you get annoyed you start using all the hand actions and I just think it is hilarious." I laughed struggling for air, I don't know what came over me but I was in the fits of giggles. Before I knew it the two of us were in stitches.

"I love you Ruby." She was still laughing.

"I love me too." I smirked thinking me come back was top notch. Avery though didn't find it funny and instead playfully slapped my arm.

"Ok clam down Miss Avery. I love you too." We smiled at each other and hugged tightly.

I don't know where I would be without Avery.

3 weeks later

Averys Pov:

Being away from Niall was killing me, my heart ached for him. I miss his laugh, his smile, and his hugs. Everything. I had been keeping myself busy though, with work and stuff. Also me and Ruby hadn't had a lot of one on one time recently so in the last month the two of us had been on umpteen shopping trips and I may have spent over my budget. Oh well though. Niall was coming back for a couple of days, starting today. So I was dead happy about seeing him.

"Knock Knock"

I pray to god I hope this is Niall. I bolted down the stairs as fast as could missing the last few step causing me to nearly fall over. Smart one Avery. So when I finally reached the door I was hyper ventilating. I had missed him so much. I opened the door and there he was standing right in front of me and the first thing I did was pull him close and snogged the living day lights out of him.

"Nice to see you to Avery." Niall smiled. The hole in my heart that had appeared when Niall wasn't near had fixed itself up. I felt whole again like the missing piece of my jigsaw was found and it fit in just perfectly.

"I missed you so much." I exclaimed to Niall. I had my arms wrapped round him and there was no way I was letting go.

"I missed you to, cupcake." Niall whispered, I could feel his hot breath on my head as the slight breeze tickled my scalp. He leant down, applying the pressure of his lips onto my forehead.

"I have something planned for today... and you are going to love it." I smiled a huge grin. I was extremely excited for what I had planned and I hope Niall would love it just as much as I do.

"Well are you going to tell me?"

"Nope... it's a surprise." I smirked.

A/N

So hey guys... I'm so sorry at how late this is. I have just been busy lately, well not busy as such just more on a mission. I'm wanting the perfect beach body so I have been running nearly every day and the days I don't run I do dancing or something haha.

So I hope you like this chapter. I know it's a bit boring but I needed to get something up :)
