MAN FROM THE PAST

"Hey, I guess we're running out of foods and drinks. Can someone go to the nearest market and buy some?" Luke asks
"I'll do it" Zoey answers
Then, Zoey walks out from the safehouse to the nearest market. When suddenly, he meets his old friend, Will.
"Zoey Harper, is that you?" Will asks
"Hey, yeah, I am. Who are you?" Zoey looks confused
"It's me, bro, Will. Will Harold."
"Oh! Wow! Will. It's good to see you again, man!" Zoey looks surprised.
"Yeah! It's been a long time, man. So, how's your life?"
"It sucked. But now, I'm enjoying my life, man. You know, new friends, new life." Zoey answers him with a little laugh.
"So, where do you live? How's your job?" Will keeps asking Zoey about his life.
"I live near here, man. And the job, uhm, yeah, it's complicated." Zoey tries to hide the facts.
"Well, I can see that. Btw, I need your help, man" Will shows a little smile
"Well, we can talk about it later. What if you come to my place after I buy something in the market?" Zoey asks
"Sure, it seems nice!"
"Great! Let me get something first, okay?" Zoey then asks Will to accompany him buy the foods and drinks.

---------------At the safehouse---------------

"Here we are" Zoey tells him
"You live here?" Will looks confused
"Yeah, oh and this place is the best place ever!" Zoey seems so happy with a little smile on his face.
"It doesn't seem like a house, or an apartment. It looks like you live in a bunker. No offense" Will still looks confused
"How dare you! Okay, let's get inside. You'll be surprise" Zoey takes Will inside.

"Hey, guys! I want to intoduce my old friend....." Before Zoey finishes introduce his friend, Violet interrupts.
"Will. Will Harold." Violet stares at Will
"Vi? How can you....." Will seems surprised.
"You two know each other?" Zoey looks confused
"Yeah" Violet says
"But it's complicated." Will adds
"We worked in a same group. But, when the cops knew about this group and were about to arrested all of us, I told him to run away and never come back." Violet explains
"So, you and the others got arrested except him?" Zoey points at Will. Violet just nods.
"I know it's been a long time, Vi. But, why you told me to run away, while we can run together or we can get arrested together?" Will asks her.
"I had to go to jail, but you, you were a cop. You betrayed your department because of me. I told you to do that. It wasn't your choice, it never was. And you can't go to jail, because I knew, I knew you can't get out from there that easily. I'm sorry, but it was the best plan I could think of." Violet tears seem to drop.
Will looks so pissed, but when he sees Violet is crying, he pulls her into a hug.
"It's okay, Vi. It was our past, just forget it, Okay? I forgive you" Will says that in a calm voice.
"Thank you" Violet smiles and pulls her body away.

"I hate to interrupt, but how did you two first meet?" Luke asks Will.
"Uhm, we, uh, we met a long time ago before I met Violet. We met at the bar. We started to talk, and he seemed really nice. I never knew he was a criminal, until now. But, thanks to God I'm not a cop anymore" Will laughs.
Will continues his explanation, "We sometimes played basketball and football together, went to a bar. And then one day, he disappeared. I guess it was when you get arrested, right?"
"I guess" Zoey answers
"Yeah. So, that's it guys, our first met" Will ends up his story.

Luke pulls Zoey to the corner of the room, and says
"Why did you bring him here?" Luke asks
"I just want to introduce him to all of you"
"But we don't even know what the hell is he doing here, who is he right now?!" Luke seems pissed
"I know. I'm sorry. But he also said that he needs help, so maybe you guys can help him." Zoey explains
"But we don't even know who is he! Why we have to help him?!" Luke raises his voice.

Everyone is looking at them, wondering what happened.
"Sorry, guys" Luke apologizes

"But, he seems fine, Luke. He's nice. Please man, just this time, okay?" Zoey begs
"But, what if you're wrong about him?" Luke asks him
"I'll take full responsibility" Zoey says it in confident.
"Fine. We will help him. Just this time, man. Next time, you will have to tell us first before take your weird friends here" Luke explains
"I will" Zoey nods.
