I sat there staring blankly at the white, creamy wall. My mind was empty. My thoughts weren't there. Everything felt void. I was emotionless. I knew if someone were to stare into my eyes they would see nothing but blank hazel eyes staring back. My face sat in a permanent mask of nothingness.

A light tapping sound echoed across my room, yet I sat there still stating at the wall. I knew sooner or later who ever was knocking on my door would come in. Nobody expected me to talk or answer the door, yet they knocked and tried to have conversations with me anyways.

"Alice ?" A hesitant voice questioned creaking my door open.

I did not take my gaze away from the wall.

"It's dinner time. Your father has guest over and he would like you to meet them. He requested that you dress in something more on the elegant side." The servant mumbled , scared to come any further in the room.

From where I was sitting I could smell the strong scent of her fear. She feared me though I don't know why. What is there to fear? I never gave her a reason. All day, everyday, I stared at the same spot on the wall, blocking out every memory that surfaced to my mind.

I didn't move from my spot.

"Please, Alice. Can you make my job easier? Just come down stairs, if anything. Don't put on a dress if you have to, don't change your clothes, but just come down stairs. You are expected." Her voice was small and shook a little. She was weak. I could sense it, as much as I sensed her raw fear.

Still I stared at the wall.

The maid inhaled a big breath . Her feet padded against the plush carpet and she stood to the side of me . From my peripheral vision I could see her staring at the wall where I was staring.

"What do you find so fascinating about this wall in particular?"

She was trying to make conversation. I could tell she didn't want to. I knew she just wanted something from me to show I wasn't a mute, to show I had coherent thoughts.

I ignored her.

As she nervously chattered, I tuned her voice out. The noise around me became fuzzy as I continued to stare. I don't know how much time passed before she put her hands on me and shook me vigorously.

"Why won't you talk? What's wrong with you? You have everything handed on you on a silver platter, yet you just sit there and state at a wall? Of all things A WALL. Your spoiled. You don't deserve everything you -"

A snap broke out across the room. Dropping her lifeless body to the white carpet I turned back to the wall and stared. As the sun set, and night time came, foot steps creaked down the hall way. Somebody pushed my door all the way open letting a stream of light enter the room.

Still I stated at the wall.

"Alice what did you do ?" A loud commanding voice boomed across the room.

My fathers voice. His heart was beating fast and I could smell is frustration and fury. It did not intimidate me. He could never intimidate me .

From the corner of my eye I watched as he dropped to the ground and checked the pulse on her wrist .

"Why Alice?" His voice betrayed so many emotions .

My eyes betrayed none.

"This is the third maid this week! Do you not care that these women have families? That people care about them? You should be sentences to death because of this! I am your alpha and everyday you disobey me! I don't know how much longer I can put up with this. Just because they are human doesn't give you a right to murder cold blooded. You are not a monster, why act like one?" My fathers voice came out calm and soothing, like he was trying to sooth me.
