"Yes! Another one!" He exclaimed, pulling up the rod to reveal a fish from the water. It's mouth was caught on the almost invisible line.
"That makes 10 fish in total Natsu, you're on your game today!" Happy grinned with all the delicious creatures he could ever want within his small grasp. Natsu smiled to the blue cat beside him on the overlook to the wide river below. Behind the duo were Erza, Gray, and Lucy sitting against a large sakura tree watching this whole thing unfold. Gray played with a small twig he'd found on the ground as Erza looked quietly at the people she was surrounded by. Lucy held a journal with a pencil at her clutch, most likely still working on her very long story. Team Natsu had decided a week ago to go fishing together as a 'bonding activity'. At least that's what Erza called it, but Lucy was sure Gray would rather call it annoying and be somewhere else. Perhaps with a wavy blue haired water mage.... she couldn't pry though to find out. Natsu turned his head to the three of them a wide beam on his face before it turned into a small pout. "Why do you all have an annoyed look on your face? Did you eat the raw fish? I told you it'd be bad if you ate it ice princess."
"I know that idiot fl-"
"We're aren't dissatisfied Natsu, it's just we've been here for quite sometime and we have nothing to do really anymore." Erza stated calmly cutting off Gray sharply. He huffed but said nothing more.
"What? There's plenty to do! How about you guys find some firewood for the fire I'm gonna make to fry these fish." He suggested, turning his whole body around now to face them.
"That'll take two seconds. What after that?" Gray stood from his rest against the tree, pacing around a bit.
"well, I suppose you could... help me with cooking them!" Natsu pointed out.
"How?" Gray asked snarkily.
"Ummm...by holding the sticks?"
"We'll burn our hands off you flame brain!"
Within seconds Natsu was over to Gray and had punched him square in the face. Gray came back with a kick to the stomach, making Natsu even angrier. As Erza joined in to split up these idiots happy wandered over to Lucy quietly sitting still, seeming unaware of her surroundings. Her hand flicked with swift movement across the paper, making the small cat wonder. He slid his way into a tight spot where he could see what she was doing. Her hand drew a line connecting to another in no certain pattern and then another. She continued to do this ,not paying attention to the cat squeezing himself in her forearm to see. When she was done the character had long hair colored in with the graphite pencil going down to her sweatshirt. As he looked over the whole drawing, he was amazed.
"Lucy, you can draw?" He asked almost bewildered. She nodded her head shyly to him, a little embarrassed. "Ooh ooh! Draw me!" He squealed. She happily complied and began with a circle. A few moments later the three walked over from their bickering spot and sat down next to the two, Gray and Natsu still giving each other hateful looks. Erza sat in between them, so they stopped immediately after finding her eyes staring at both of them. Natsu stood up immediately to get away from his spot next to Erza, noticing his best friends as he did so. Happy and Lucy didn't interact with them as they were too focused on her notebook. Natsu raised a brow and asked "Geez you two, what is so interesting in Lucy's story?" He walked behind them to see what they were staring at. Happy jumped about as he almost shouted "Natsu look! look! Lucy drew me!" He watched the drawing closer and as she scribbled his eyes widened. Lucy finished the last line as Natsu sat himself down next to her. "Draw me next." He said cooly. Her brown eyes looked at his in wonder.
"Okay" She replied quietly, starting once again. Erza and Gray scooted closer to the artist. When Lucy finished she turned the book around for them to see.
