"I mean, come on. You guys can't just break in, in the middle of the night, and expect me to hit the road with you." Sam sighed exasperatedly, waving his hands around as he tried to keep up with Dean and Freya's pace down the stairs.

"You're not hearing me Sammy, Dad's missing. I need you to help me find him." Dean explained in a quieter tone, while tightening his grip on Freya's hand.

"Remember the poltergeist in Amherst? Or the Devil's Gates in Clifton? He was missing then, too. He's always missing, and he's always fine." Sam insisted, starting to get a little angry at the fact that he was being dragged back into this.

"Yeah, Sammy, he was. But it was never for this long. We can't do this alone." Freya tried her best to put her puppy dog face on, but with the ever so tight grip that Dean had on her hand, it more than likely came out as a grimace.

"Now are you gonna come with us or not?" Dean asked, stopping at the bottom of the stairs, with an impatient look on his face.

"I'm not." Sam stated, leaving no other room to argue, looking down on Dean and Freya.

Freya looked down, seeming to have a disappointed look on her face. Truth is, Freya's neck was just starting to hurt from looking up at the skyscraper in front of her.

"Why not?" Dean asked, seeming to not understand Sam's will to stay with the blonde in the small apartment.

"I swore I was done hunting, for good." Sam tried explaining, however, his words seem to be getting a more defeated tone to them as the conversation went on.

"Come on, it wasn't easy, but it wasn't that bad." Dean smirked, glancing over to Freya before quickly turning around and walking before she had the chance to slap him upside the head.

"Well, I don't know, I kind of see Sam's point of view on this." Freya sighed, trying to yank her hand out of Dean's grip, while simultaneously ignoring the boys' looks of confusion. "Spending every waking moment with you makes me second guess my major life decision of coming back to hunt with you. You're right, Sammy, you should just stay here."

"Last I checked, princess, you didn't mind spending time with me the other night." Dean smirked, pulling her under his arm as they continued on their walk out the doors of the building.

"Okay, guys, ew. I don't want to hear about this." Sam complained, pretending to gag as we walked down the stairs leading to the sidewalk.

"Oh, please, Sam, you can't tell me that you just slept next to that barely clothes blonde upstairs tonight." Dean scoffed, as Freya hit his chest with the back of her hand.

"Back on topic. When I told dad I was scared of the thing in the closet, he gave me a .45." Sam scoffed out, as the trio stopped once again.

"What was he supposed to do?" Dean asked, oblivious to the look on Freya's face.

"I was 9 years old," Sam gave a look that clearly stated that Dean was an idiot. Or at least that's what Freya took it as. "He was supposed to say, 'don't be afraid of the dark.'"

"Don't be afraid of the dark? Are you kidding me? Of course you should be afraid of the dark, you know what's out there." Dean scoffed, not understanding Sam's point, as Freya rolled her eyes at their constant bickering.

"Yeah, I know, but still, the way we grew up after mom was killed. And dad's obsession to find the thing that killed her." Sam rolled his eyes, as Dean narrowed his. "And we still haven't found the damn thing, so we kill everything that we can find."

Freya noticed that things were starting to get personal, especially since Sam brought up the topic of Mary Winchester.

"You think mom would have wanted this for us?" Sam scoffed out.

"I'm gonna go wait out in the car," Freya whispered in Dean's ear, feeling the slight nod of his head, before giving his hand a quick squeeze and walking away.

It wasn't every day that the topic of Mary Winchester was brought up, but when it was, no matter what context it was in, Dean got pretty upset about it.

And every time she has been brought up, Freya has been there to do damage control.

The only thing keeping Freya herself, and Dean himself, is each other.

So, I got my laptop fixed and decided I should start updating again. Especially since it's winter break, and I literally have nothing else to do. Lol, I'm not really sure how I'm trying to show Freya and Dean as, but I'm liking how it's turning out so far, and I hope you all do too! I just think that Nina Dobrev is perfection, and she really brings Freya a lot more character. I don't think there is really anybody else that could potray her any better honestly. Vote, comment, whatever you want. Lol, hopefully I can get another chapter posted up soon! :)
