"Krystal to Earth!"
I quickly opened my eyes, to only be greeted with someone wearing a mask. I look around my surroundings.
Lights flashing, loud music, people dancing in costumes. Then, I remembered. I'm at my high school's Halloween party. Everyone looked cringe-worthy honestly. Girl's wearing really revealing clothing, and the guy's just looked so inappropriate looking, which also goes to the girls. And, here I was dressed as an avocado, don't ask why. I wonder how these people managed to get passed the teachers. Speaking of them, I wonder where they went. They should be su-
"Krystal! Can't you hear me?!"
I quickly turned back to the person and smiled awkwardly. "Sorry.. I spaced out."
"It's okay, but why are you dressed as an avocado?"
"Is there a problem, Amber?"
Amber, my best awesome friend ever. She always stuck around me all the time, even in pretty awkward situations. Whenever I'd get asked out by random strangers, she'd just randomly appear next to me or within my mind, and claim or I would claim she's my boyfriend, considering her tomboy appearance.
"No, not really. I just hate avocados."
"Well, avocados hate you too."
"Hahah. Very funny Krystal." She grabbed my arm and pulled my towards the crowd of people. "Now, let's have fun and meet some new people."
"No thank you. I'll be over there where the appetizers are located." I softly yanked my arm away and stood there. "If Lee Minho is here, or there is an emergency, please call me right away."
"But,-"
"No buts young woman!" Amber started laughing at my comment.
"Yeah, whatever avocado lady." She ruffled my hair and smiled. "Now, go have fun with all that food"
I smiled and walked over to where all the appetizers were. There wasn't anyone around here which was the perfect spot to be. But, there was someone at the corner standing there with a drink in his hand wearing what seems to be, an anonymous mask, if that's what you call it.
All of a sudden, that person turns his head and makes eye contact with me. The strangest thing was his hand. There were strange markings on it, the same as mine. I quickly looked away the same time as him.
