The funny thing was that the hug wasn't awkward it just happened as if we were super comfortable around each other. It was like I had known him forever. The first time I had met him I knew we had a connection and this was living proof.
After hugging for a good minute and a half we just instantly became some type of couple. I can't even explain it we were holding hands and talking non - stop. He asked me if I was hungry and as if I hadn't eaten in years I yelled, " YES I'M STARVING."
We stopped at the ben's pretzels on the way out of the mall. I ordered and he ordered.
He pulled his wallet out of his back pocket and I said, " No, no, no" as I pushed his wallet down," I'm buying. I owe you for the shirt anyways."
He said, " you owe me nothing. That was a gift."
He smiled and forcefully payed for the food.We sat down at a table and as I picked up my pretzel he took my hands, making me drop the pretzel back on the table.
He looked me in the eyes and said, " Kalani, you are beautiful and kind. I was wondering will you be my girlfriend?"
I very quickly moved into him and we kissed. I think he has his answer.
