Skylars POV.

Shit.shit.shit.

Alpha Logan was my ex-boyfriend,He and I were supposed to mate-My father disagreed and we ended up here. And he wasn't to happy when that happened. He looked at me with Lust,Hate, and many different emotions in his eyes.

And sage-oh god..

I was frozen to my spot.

Logan stepped forward towards me and Sage growled.

"shut it!"Logan snapped and in an instant he was in front of me

My wolf growled inside me

"I found you-little mate." he said with a hint of something I couldn't trace in his eyes,he went to grab my arm but I jerked it away.

He growled.

"Don't touch me! I'm not you MATE! AND I NEVER WILL BE!" I screamed

Sage was at my side glaring at him.

"Don't you EVER talk to me like that!"he snapped at me and raised his hand ready to strike.

Sage tensed up and narrowed his eyes.i closed my eyes.

I waited for the blow but it never came.

I heard a crashing sound.

I looked Up to see sage,Jared and Lance pinning Logan to the ground. Pandora and Halley were rushing towards me.

"what the fuck happened here?!???" pandora said.

"I-he-I DON'T FREAKING KNOW!!" I stuttered.

"Get this fucker out of here-NOW!" sage said using his Alpha tone.

Jared and lance nodded then picked Logan up and carried him out.

"Pandora take Halley back to your house."he told pandora

"okie dokie." she said then walked out Halley trailing behind behind her

Sage turned to me and looked at me.

"why did he call you 'little mate?!" he sneered.

"I-it's a long story.." I said.

My wolf didn't like the way sage was looking at me and the tone he was using she flattened her ears and cowered back in my head.

"Well we have plenty of time." he growled.

I didn't know what to do. So I ran. I turned around and ran out of the house. I ran as far as I could until I came to a lake and I sat down and cried. I cried and cried and cried.

Sages POV.

I didn't mean to sound so cruel when I asked why Logan had said 'little mate'.

She turned and ran. Suntan after her. She ran to the lake and cried. I was standing In the bushes. Watching her.

'Comfort her!' my wolf growled

'I think she needs to be left alone for now..' I replied back my wolf snarled in my head and I blocked him out.

That's when she turned to and saw me and she froze.

Her face was all red and puffy so I stepped out of the bushes.

Pandoras POV.

Me and Halley were in my car driving to my place. They bastard alpha logan was here,wait-why was he here??

We arrived at my house and went inside.

"what the hell was that all about?" Halley said as she plopped on the couch and rested her head on her hands

"I'm not sure......" I sighed
