Long Lost Sister

Chapter 4:

Elle's POV:
Lunch.
The best part of the school day. I was just looking for Matt when a few friends approached me.
"If your looking for Logan, he's over there with Tori" Wyatt said
"Oh, no I was looking for Matt, but Tori? Really?"
"Yeah.." Megan chimed in
"He knows I don't like her" I scowled
"I'm sure it's nothing, anyways happy birthday!" Tessa mentioned
"Thanks"
Just then Matt walked over and gave me a huge hug from behind
"Hey love" he whispered in my ear.
Love was something Matt's called me since we were kids, now that we're older and I'm dating someone, I've asked him to stop calling me that, but it seems he doesn't listen.
"Hey"
"How's your day been so far?" He asked me
"Surprisingly good"
"Awesome! I'm so glad to hear that" Matt said as he grabbed a slice of pizza and a Mountain Dew.
After we bought our lunches and sat down Matt brought up the party.
"So I figured everyone can come by around 8"
"Matt I don't even want a party"
"Too bad , my mom is fine with it. You're my bestfriend. It's your 17th birthday. We have to throw a party!" Matt whined
"Fine. If it will shut you up" I joked
"It will" Matt replied
"Fine, so 8?"
"Yes, my mom and dad are on a business trip and my siblings are at the beach. I'll be the only one home for two weeks"  Matt said, grinning with excitement
Matt's POV:
I can't help but want this night to go perfectly, Elle means so much to me, and she deserves to have a good time for once.
"Yo what up Espinosa!"
I was brought out of my thoughts.
Rylan, Mark, and Chris sat down at the table.
"Party tonight at your place?" Asked Chris
"Yeah it's Elle's birthday"
"Oh shit for real? Happy birthday shordy" Mark chimed in
"Thanks Mark" Elle said, politely smiling at him.
"Ight we'll be there bro" Rylan said, patting me on the back as they all stood up.
"And we'll bring booze and chicks" Chris shouted as they all walked away.
Great. That means the whole town is going to know within the hour.
