I made it through the class quickly shutting my book and trying to squeeze my way past Ian without any part of me rubbing against him. He stood up before I could get through and blocked my path.
"In a hurry to somewhere love?"
He asked his husky voice making my spine shiver
"I am headed home"
"So this is your last class too,? Sweet let me give you a ride home"
"I-I uh"
The truth was Keri had detention and I was gonna have to ride the bus or walk and neither sounded good with the weather
He looked smirking in the odd way he did.
"Uh fine"
As to why I said yes I might never know but lord did I wish I had just rode the bus, my life would have been better off.
___
"So Addie, do you plan on telling me which street it is or do you want to sit there and pretend I don't exist this entire time?"

"Uh uh ya turn left here "

"Addie what's up, I saw you with Keri earlier I know you aren't like this, where's that sass that you gave me earlier"

"I don't know Ian Simon maybe you should stay out of my business"

"That's the girl I want to get to know"
I gawked at his comment
He was so smooth with his words, everything he said made me feel powerless and I wanted to know why so being me I let him mess around a little more

Ian dropped me off at my house and walking me to the door.
"Why is it you're spending this time on me?"
"I don't know Addie but I am glad I am"
Gosh I can't get the answer I want and I don't hear bad news but something I didn't expect, I wasn't ready for this, I wasn't ready for him.

"If we are gonna have this chat mind if I come in sweetheart?"
"First things first don't call me that, secondly why would I let you in?"
"Because you know you want to Addie"
"Ian stop"
He took a step closer looking me in the eyes
"Oh sweet cheeks won't you please let me in, it's very cold out here"
"Fine, but you have ten minutes and back to your car you go"
"Alrighty then"
---
Ian and I sat on the couch facing each other. For no reason I let this almost complete stranger into my house, knowing I would be caught dead if my parents were in town.
I started talking not exactly sure about what at first but the conversation wound its way through many laughs and many intimidating smiles from Ian that made catch my breath before I could continue talking.
"Ian, I think it's been ten minutes"
Checking my phone it had almost been an hour.
"Or a little more than that, can't I stay a little longer?" He teased knowing full well the answer was no this time.
"Ian you have to go" I said pulling him to his feet and marching him to the door.
"Baby look at the snow, there's no way I can make it home"
He was right there was a fresh layer of snow on the ground, and not just an inch or two but maybe half a foot or more.
"Ok Ian you seem to be getting all to lucky today, the guest bedrooms down stairs and you'll have to find something to change into or you can sleep in that"
"Oh, I have known you for 24 hours and I already get an invitation to stay the night how sweet"
"Go figure out where you're staying"
"Thanks Addie, you won't regret this"
He said with a wink and headed down the stairs to the guest bedroom.
What was I thinking he was so out of my league and so dangerous to be with, but he seemed different, I mean we did talk for an hour right?
Well I guess we will see what the night brings....
