Victors POV
I didn't think that I could feel so much pride in someone as I do in this child. I continued thinking to myself on how I was so lucky that she was left on my door step 7 years ago today.
Suddenly I got thrown out of my thoughts by being tackled by the little girl.
"Victor! Victor! Did you see what I did? I took down the big scary man, all by myself!" screamed the little girl.
"Whoa there Ashlynn! calm down"chuckling he contrinues "I never been more proud of you, sweetheart."
Although she made a face at me since i used her who name, she continued to smile and brag. I stood there laughing at how happy she was. I still coudn't believe that someone didn't want this precious little angel... Wait did I just say angel. HA! She is probably the fartherest thing from an angel but that is truly a good thing. Or she probably would not survive living at a mercenary training barn.
She knew how to fight and that was a good thing. I started training her personally, when she first started to walk. I will not have a weakly in my midst even if she is a little girl. I know I sound harsh but it's how things need to be. I am the owner of this establishment and I can't have my reputation ruined because I have one weak little girl here. I love her to bits but I will never be ok with it.
Later that night, as I walking to go to bed, I heard thuds in the training room. I slowly approached and stop dead in my tracks.
Ashlynn was striking a dummy with her training sword trying new moves, along with older ones she was already amazing at. In that exact second, I realized that she was going to be my best fighter yet.
