I had regretted listening to my bestfriend and going to the stupid party she had dragged me too.

her exact words, ' come on becca you barely even leave the house. plus it'll be fun '. and where did listening to her words lead me to? on the side walk. almost an hour away from home in the unfamiliar town I had never been in. my car had broken down and I had no choice but to walk and try to find a motel or a gas station to call someone. freezing in the spaghetti strap, tight dress that stopped at my knees. kicking off my heels placing them in my hand. time going by quickly my feet aching from stepping on rocks. groaning in frustration as i began kicking the tiny pebble with my feet. by now I was to far away from my car to turn around and it would have been pointless. my mind telling me to go back while my guts had been telling me to move forward. going with my gut i continued to walk through the dark allies until the sound of a trash can hitting the ground caught my attention. my head snapping back searching for any sign of danger. only seeing trash rolling out of a fallen trash can from the wind. shrugging my shoulders i continued to walk not letting down my guard. turning around only to see a shadow behind me. my heart thumping in my chest repeatedly. picking up my pace. hearing multiple foot steps increase, not even wasting time to turn around and see if they had been on my heel. sprinting down the dark alley dropping my heels pulling up my dress slightly helping me run faster. breathing hard as I ran for my life. the alley leading me to a dark forest. with no hesitation jumping into action and dashing through the forest. my skin getting scrapped harshly against the branches, my feet covered in mud, leaves getting tangled in my hair. screaming as i tripped over the fallen branch. rolling down the hill with no capability to stopping my self. branches scrapping against my legs causing me to let out a scream. my head hitting roughly against the large rock. by the time my pain had been cut short, bruises and cuts had probably covered my body entire. my head spinning as i still tried to stand up. stumbling as i held onto the tree beside me, trying to find my balance. the dizziness over powering me as I fell to the ground. my eye lids closing. every inch of my body drained keeping me from opening them. and soon my eyes were shut and i was out cold.
