I picked up my bag and kept running. I looked behind me. " I lost him good." I looked at the moon and cried. " I'm not your slave anymore." I whispered and slid down the wall. " There was a time when I was Alone No where to go and no place to call home My only friend was the man in the moon And even sometimes he would go away too ..." I sang wiping away my tears and continuing to walk, kicking pebbles. I looked up and saw a huge mansion. I looked at the open gates. I ran through them and hid behind a bush. I snuck behind the mansion and climbed in a open window. I looked around. A hallway. I slowly walked around, warily. I opened a door a crack. A empty room. No furniture. Just a dirty old rug. I walked in and closed the door. I slid down the wall and softly sang "There was a time when I was Alone No where to go and no place to call home My only friend was the man in the moon And even sometimes he would go away too ..." I started to cry. I pulled a picture frame out of my bag. It was my sister, her red hair and green eyes reminded me off our dead mom. Where is she anyway ? I'm alone without her. She is my beautiful little sister and I lost her. Its my fault she could be dead. I looked at the wall across from me. I gently put the frame back in my bag and cried. I wiped my eyes. " Smile. Even when your sad, crying only makes it worse." I forced a smile upon my face. No tears. I pulled my voodoo doll from my bag. It was made to look like my sister. I took the spell off it so it couldn't hurt her. She has one like me. I smiled at the thought of her. The thought of her smile made me sad. Sad that I cant see that smile anymore. I fell asleep with the thought of her in my head.
