    I sat in the beautiful garden. It was nighttime and everyone was in bed (Or so she thought.) Tears brimmed my glassy eyes and I sang.

Momma never told me how to love

Daddy never told me how to feel

Momma never told me how to touch

Daddy never showed me how to heal

     Silent tears streamed down my pale face

Momma never set a good example

Daddy never held momma's hand

Momma found everything hard to handle

Daddy never stood up like a man

       I rubbed the doll in my hand of my sister

I listened to Emma as she sang. 'Do those lyrics mean Something to her?' I thought pressing my back up to the brick wall.

        I heaved a sigh and continued ,wiping my eyes

I was always the chosen child

The biggest scandal I became

They told me I'd never survive

But survival's my middle name

  I dropped the doll and it's face shattered into a million pieces...Like my heart.
