_______ was sitting quietly at her desk, doodling in her notebook as usual.
Her teacher had already finished the lesson, and had given her students free time for the rest of the class period, from what Jeff could hear.

Jeffrey Woods was crouched low behind one of the freshly trimmed hedges near the window.
It had been left slightly open and he could hear the conversations inside, along with _______ who was humming what Jeff recognized as her favorite song.
Ocassionally he would rise a little on his toes and peer into the window, careful not to draw any attention.

She was beautiful as always. Her (e/c) eyes not noticing the blue of his own.
Jeff longed for the moment when they would lock eyes for the first time.
Jeff continued to stare as _______ started drumming her pencil on the desk in rhythm with the music playing in her headphones. She looked up from her drawing for a moment, her head turning towards the window. Jeff quickly crouched down, out of sight.
She almost saw him.
He silently cursed at himself for the near miss. He had to be more careful.. he had to be patient... as agonizing as it was.

Jeff wanted nothing more than to hold her in his arms, run his fingers through her hair, and claim her as his. To hear her say his name... The mere thought of it made his heart pound in his chest and a faint tint of red cross the pale skin of his face.
His thoughts were interrupted when he heard the voice of one of _______'s friends, a girl named Alicia.
Jeff listened through the small opened section of the window.

"We should definitely hang out today. Can I come over?" Alicia asked _______, leaning over her desk, her chin propped up by her hands.
_______ removed her headphones and turned to Alicia.

"Yeah, my mom should be fine with it. You can come by whenever." She said.

The sound of her voice made Jeffs heart race once more.

After all of her classes had ended, Jeff remained hidden and followed _______ as she walked home.
Although he knew it was wrong to stalk, Jeff couldn't bear the thought of her getting hurt without him there to protect her.

She was quietly singing along to another one of her favorite songs.
Jeff knew all of them.
He might have snooped in her ipod, while she was taking a nap.
He wasn't trying to be a creep, he was just curious.
Jeff had gone out of his way to learn basically everything about her.
Her favorite colors, foods, movies, music, tv shows, animals, books...
He had overheard a few conversations and knew that she was a shy, hopeless romantic type. She could be energetic when she warmed up to people and was open minded towards most things. She was also a bit a a geek. But Jeff found this unbearably cute.

Jeff had entered her room a few times in the past while she was asleep. He never physicaly touched her, he only watched her sleep from a distance and found out things about her.
When she was doing private things such as showering or changing, Jeff made sure to respect her and keep his distance.
________'s mother was a kind woman who worked a lot, much of the the time when she wasn't with Alicia,  _______ would just sit alone in her room and read stories on the internet.

_______ pulled her set of house keys out of her pocket and unlocked the front door.
Jeff climbed a tall tree that was near her window. It provided good coverage so he wouldn't be spotted by anyone.
_______ entered her room and tossed her backpack in one corner. She sat down on her bed and stared up at the ceiling blankly.
She grabbed a marker from her nightstand and began tossing it up into the air and catching it absent-mindedly. She turned up her music and sang along.
Jeff could hear her voice through the slightly open window.
He leaned back against a branch and closed his eyes, dosing off.

Both he and _______ were startled when Alicia suddenly came through the bedroom door carrying a bag and two coffee cups.

"Here! I got you your favorite." She said, walking over and handing _______ one of the cups.

"Alicia, I know you practically live here, but you gotta knock. You almost gave me a heart attack."  _______ said, rolling her eyes and taking the cup. "And thanks."

"Heh.... lo siento. But anyway, you know how I was reading one of those creepypasta stories in class? I found another one, and its really cool."

______ took a sip of her drink. "Lets hear it. Whats it called?"

Alicia pulled out her cellphone from her bag and check the screen.
"It's called 'Jeff The Killer'."

Jeff almost fell out of the tree.

The story was about him?
But Jeff made sure he was off the radar. Now he was a internet horror story?
That could only be possible if-

"BEN, I swear to God when I get home I'm going to kill you." Jeff muttered under his breath.

Jeff moved closer to the bedroom window and listened quietly as Alicia began to read the story.
It was a bit disturbing to hear his own life retold, but he stayed nonetheless.
______ remained silent the entire time until the end.

"Wow.... he was badass. But what his mom did at the end was terrible."

Her words caught both Alicia and Jeff off guard.
They both had expected her to note how twisted and creepy the story was, not how "badass" Jeff was and how upset she felt about what his mother tried to do.

"Huh?" Alicia asked. "You're not creeped out?"

"Not really. He didn't deserve all those bad things that happened to him. I respect him."

Jeff wanted to hug her. He never expect her to say anything like that.
She respected him?

Jeff was too stunned to pay much attention to the two girls after that. They listened to the radio and read a few more stories.
Alicia left around ten o'clock and _______ got ready for bed. She changed into pajamas and slid under the covers.
After she was asleep, Jeff slid open the window and climbed in.
That night as he watched _______ sleep, he broke his own rule and slowly moved closer, placing a hand in the hair that was lying on her pillow. He brushed it gently.

"Sweet dreams beautiful." He whispered almost inaudibly.
"It seems we may meet sooner than expected."

He placed a soft kiss on her forehead before climbing back out the window.

No matter who may try to stop him. He knew that he would protect you not matter the cost.
It was a risk he was more than willing to take.
Jeff headed home silently, happier than he'd been in many years.
Things were looking brighter.

Much brighter.
