Life is a roller coaster,

With no straight roads,

Providing bumps every turn;

So the journey from infancy to

Becoming an adult,

As you can imagine,

Is not that simple.

As examples,

I will tell you the tales of three

Kids,

Who chose this tiresome trail,

Then you will believe

How hard it can be,

And it is not that easy as it seems,

Growing up and

Reaching the goal of gaining,

A fully-grown mentality.

First is Jay,

Who, as a kid was less work more play,

Maybe, with him, some of you can relate.

He had great imagination,

He would make great stories causing

Hypnotization.

But as he grew up, he stopped believing in angels and Santa Claus ,

Great Saint Nicholas, in Jay's heart

Was long lost.

His hope with the world started decreasing,

World's cruelty had him breathing,

He no longer played and had fun,

Only for money did he learn.

At a mere age of fifteen,

His carefree mind became Tainted,

From then, he became a very selfish individual,

Who never believed in giving,

But only in taking from others,

Which had become his life's motto.

Thus, you know his path to "maturity"

Was already shaken,

Before he even commenced.

Second here on my list,

Is Cecil.

The day he took birth,

The radio was on with great classical songs ,

which, he heard and

after listening to them, started crying.

His endless tears only ceased when,

the channel was switched to mainstream.

From childhood,

He was too fast paced,

But, unknowingly he returned to

His original place,

And like the rabbit, lost the race.

When he was Just fourteen,

He started smoking,

And then at sixteen,

He had already disappeared to the world of cocaine,

And celebrated his first drink and drive,

For which, he Sadly wasn't punished and it, he gleefully survived.

In this process,

His life had already left time behind,

And the lost moments became hard to find,

Which even he, himself couldn't rewind.

Lastly, I want to introduce you to

Scarlett,

Who went on a "normal" path,

With the "regular" obstacles and high tides.

When she was born, she just cried,

And slept patiently and silently,

while listening to a peaceful lullaby.

Then,

When she was 10,

She loved Peter Pan and his friends,

And, as she entered high-school,

She was still respectful,

And very selfless and kind,

Which, for her bore many fruits.

Additionally,

when she commemorated her sweet sixteen,

She threw the regular tantrums,

For wanting to receive a car as a gift,

But understood immediately

that it was too expensive.

So, she strategically decided to get a part-time job.

Hearing this, her parents hugged her

And like this, time instantly flew.

Hence, soon she reached the long awaited

Stage to ultimate enlightenment:

Maturity.

As you can see,

These three,

experimented with a lot of boots,

But they were too small or too big,

which is all dependent on your perspective.

One lost innocence long before he gained it,

And the second kid, pretended to not know what "Wrong" is.

However, only one found

The right fit.

Scarlett neither smoked,

nor did she drink,

Still she was too "cool for school,"

Gained serenity

And crossed the finish line,

Of the thrilling obstacle-filled-race to adulthood,

Quite comfortably indeed!
