You see that beautiful girl with the gorgeous hair? and the other girl with a beautiful face hidden behind her books?

Slut, Whore, Bitch, Pervert, Prostitute

She knew what they called her.

Nerd, Geek, Brainiac, Freak, Teachers Pet

Totally different words but yet the feeling they brung was the same.

She knew they said she showed too much

She agreed

A child, Too insecure, too frail

Is that truly what you see or what you choose to see?

What wasted talent

She agreed with it, with ALL of it

They were right about everything but what they didn't know was that it wasn't their fault.

A.R.A - It wasn't her fault that her mum had disappeared and that no one could find her, It wasn't her fault that her dad after many years of searching gave up and remarried, It wasn't her fault that her step mum had been kind and caring and sweet before and after marriage till after their honeymoon she became cruel and unkind.

A.I.A - And it wasn't her fault that her mum got remarried, It wasn't her fault that her stepfather started off nice but then after marriage turned into a power craving lunatic.

It wasn't her fault that her stepmom hurt her.

It wasn't her fault that her stepdad abused her

It was horrible, they stopped shy of torture but then again sometimes it seemed it was.

The shadows seemed to dance on the walls as they taunted her. They laughed at how powerless she was to stop Her

No matter how much she cried and screamed it would never stop until she gave in to his demands.

Until she gave in and let herself become a toy... no, a puppet

someone who would do whatever She  said

So you see, None of it was actually her fault.

Why did she deserve this?

She didn't think she did but she got it all the same whether she deserved it or not.

She didn't but according to him she deserved everything she got and more.

It's not fair

Of course not, but that's the way life is.

Can you blame her for trying?

It was a hellhole

A crazy household

 Freak!

They pretended to be her friend, just to use her

A smile

They smiled back

A laugh

Nobody asked

A funny comment

Nobody saw

A Hug

Can't you see the pain in her eyes?

A Whisper

A rumour that can break anyone, break through anything

But It did not break their glass facades

their glass masks, that hid the pain and the sorrow that hid their worries and fears and instead showed a smile, a laugh.

Can't anybody see through it?

Can't anybody help them?
