Christmas Special 2015 [Avengers x male!Reader]

*A/N: I don't own any part of Marvel, but I own this plot so please no stealing.

The Avengers and (y/n) were up early today, why? Because it was freaking Christmas morning! Tony had asked Jarvis to wake everyone up at six A.M. just about everyone was ready to kill the genius. Well, except Steve who went out for a run and came back to make coffee before six.

"Smart man!" (y/n) cheered, patting Steve on the shoulder. Dressed in a plain white shirt and tan cargo pants, Steve looked good for someone that woke up before six, while everyone was still in their pajamas and some fluffy slippers.

The Christmas tree was sitting in the middle of the room, beautifully decorated and shined brightly. Groggy eyed and yawning every two minutes with coffee in their hands, the Avengers were all gathered around the tree and as they passed their gifts around. Sadly, the only two people that weren't there were Clint and Thor, but the latter was coming later.

Bruce had placed his gift under the tree, dedicated to Natasha. As she picked it up and looked at the label, she noticed it was Bruce's messy, uniform writing. She smiled to herself before she carefully tore the paper. Bruce watched out of the corner of his eye as he tore into his present from Natasha. They smiled at their gifts- a painting of the symphony for Bruce and a handcrafted necklace with a purple gem stone in the middle for Natasha.

Natasha turned to Bruce and smiled at him, while he managed a small smile himself. It was a silent 'thank you' that neither of them needed words for.

"Tony, they're beautiful." Pepper smiled.

On the other hand, Pepper was making her thanks known to Tony in kisses. He had gotten her pearl earrings and delicate single-pearl bracelet. Pepper had gotten him a new watch, one that he had broken a long time ago and never got replaced for some reason. They helped each other put on their new gifts.

"This is great. Thanks, Pep," Tony said as he examined his new watch, saw the tiny engraved message on the side. He really hoped he didn't break this one.

(y/n) nervously bit his lip, looked at Steve's handwriting on the tiny label and then at the man himself. He had already opened the tiny box that contained an iPod Shuffle. He laughed before he turned it on and read through the list of songs that (y/n) had packed with the Shuffle. He smiled with him before he tore into the gift. It was a (gift you want). (y/n) was sure that Natasha helped him pick it out.

"Thank you, Steve " He said to the man, who sat on the next couch over.

"Natasha helped me pick it out."

"But Steve came up with the idea." Natasha clarified.

Just then the elevator opened and out stepped Thor and Jane.

"Hello, friends." Thor bellowed, while holding Jane's hand.

"Hi, everyone." She smiled.

"Hi, Thor."

"Morning, Thor."

"Hey, Breakneck."

"Is everyone ready for the day's journey?" Thor asked.

"Say what now?" (y/n) shot in.

"Sir (y/n), everyone, did you forget my promise...? I said I would take everyone to Asgard on Christmas."

"We didn't think you were serious, Thor," Steve said.

"Non-sense, I am a man of my word. If you would like to come to Asgard with Jane and I, we are leaving in about three hours."
