We hopped into my mustang convertible, fliping down the top and peeled out of my parking space. I drove towards the mall, stopping to pick up my best friends, Riley and Becca.
Riley and Becca slid into the back seat. They wore matching outfits. Bright purple tights with a neon blue mini skirt. Black converse and a purple tee with a black leather jacket.
Sierra sat next to me in the passenger seat. A short pink mini skirt hung low on her waist and was paired with a white tank top and pink cardigan and pink converse.
I pulled into the parking space closest to the food court, glancing at my surroundings before opening the door and sliding up the hood. I got out, shutting my door.
"Where to first?" Sierra asked. She obviously had never been shopping before.
"We eat first...always," Riley answered.
"Okay...where do we want to eat?" Sierra began again.
"Panda? Auntie Anne's? CINNABON?" I asked. I didn't really want Auntie Anne's pretzels for lunch. It just wouldn't be enough. We'd walk it offf almost immediately. On the other hand, squishy and warm pretzels did appeal to my stomach. I couldn't make up my mind.
"Panda. We'll hit up CINNABON for our snack later in the day," Becca chimed in.
"Lets go," I said, walking towards Panda Express inside the mall. The oriental smell of the food met us just outside the door. It smelled like spices and sugars all thrown together in a bowl.
"I'll buy...my treat," Riley said, walking to order our food.
The rest of us went and found a table. Becca elbowed me as I sat down.
Matt was walking towards us in the food court with his entorage.
"Why are they here?" Riley asked, sitting down. She stared at Matt's best friend like he was the olny reason she was alive. She passed out our food, then continued staring. Opening my container, I noticed everything I always get. My slightly spicy Orange Chicken, my spicy SweetFire Chicken, white rice and my chow mein with a side of Manderin Sauce. I smiled, picking up my fork, and shoveling the food into my mouth.
They sat down next to us.
Matt walked up, kissing Sierra on the nose.
"Hey beautiful," Matt whispered to her, running a piece of her hair through his fingers.
"Matt. Introduce us please?" Sierra said, looking at the awkwardly quiet tables.
"Oh yeah. Sorry," Matt started.
"This is Becca, Riley, Sierra, and Thalia," he said, pointing to each of us.
I smiled at them.
"This is Tyler," he pointed to Riley's dream boy.
I kicked her under the table and her face turned bright red. Giggling, I turned my attention back to Matt.
"This is Nick," he said and i noticed Becca's facial features change from stoic to girly within seconds.
"Hey," Becca whispered, waving at Nick.
"And this...is Logan," Matt said, pointing to a shorter muscular guy. His dirty blonde hair hung slightly in his eyes making his eyes dark and mysterious.
Logan smirked at me.
I turned away, trying to think of anything besides his ocean green eyes.
We ate in silence, sneaking peeks when no one was looking.
I got up to throw away my trash, walking by the boys table to get to the nearest one. I heard a chair scrape against the floor, and shoes following me.
Tyler. My guy bestfriend.
"Tally...I need help."
"With?" I glanced at the table. Riley was staring daggers at me.
"Riley."
I choked on my drink.
"Why do you need help? She'd gladly sit on your lap if you just ask."
"I don't know how to talk to her."
"Then lets go. I got this under control bro."
"Okay."
I walked back to the table.
"Let's go everyone," I said, "boys...you must stay with us."
Nudging Matt, I whispered in his ear, "keep them with us. Plus you'll get to see the new clothes Sierra is buying."
We started down the mall towards the Forever21, spliting into twos. Riley started towards me.
"Why were you talking to him?" She asked, angry.
I grabbed her hand.
"Tyler," I yelled.
He walked up and I could tell he was nervous.
"Tyler wanted me to hook you guys up, " I put her hand in his, "you are hooked. Converse amongst yourselves."
"Thanks," Tyler said, looking at their hands, entwined perfectly with eachother.
I walked away, towards Becca and Nick staring at eachother awkwardly.
"Beccs!" I said, walking between them.
"Nick," I said in his ear, "make your move or someone else will."
I pulled on the collar of his shirt, causing him to bump into Becca and apologize for hurting her.
I watched as he wrapped an arm around her waist, walking together.
Walking alone, I hugged my arms around my waist.
