Chapter Forty

Louis's POV
Alex and I were resting in Bella's bed, just laying there with our eyes shut trying to sleep until we heard a loud scream. So we both jumped up, forced in our clothes and quickly ran down stairs to see Natalie jumping up and down and Harry on one knee...oh my lord!

Alex's POV
I see the diamond on Natalie's finger and start to freak out. She's getting married!!

"Oh Natalie!" I cry wrapping my arms around her.

"Congrats mate", I see Louis and Harry hug, not a bro hug. Like an actual caring loving hug and as they pay no attention to Natalie and I, we snap a pic of them and put it on Instagram...captioning; when your best friend is getting engaged

That's where I stopped reading, dropping my phone. I put my hand over my mouth as tears stream my cheeks, I see the same for Natalie. She looks at me and pulls me in for a hug as we cry on each others shoulders, Louis and Harry are confused

"What's wrong girls?" Liam and Selena walk in at perfect timing.

"Check Instagram. Go to Alex's post and look at the comments" Natalie cries louder, Harry takes her out of my arms and into his as he and everyone checks their phones to see my post.

"That's horrible" Selena cries as she walks up to give me a comforting hug. Louis looks at me with complete surrow then he walks up to me

Whispering in my ear,"I'm so sorry, babe. I didn't know this would have happened, don't listen.... they just hate. That's what jealous people do" he's right. I should never ever care what they say to me, it's not helping me nor it for sure won't break me down...it's all good. I nod, putting my head on Louis's shoulder, just then Bella an Niall walk in

"NO NIALL! IT'S NOT OKAY!" She stomped into the kitchen. Niall groaned quickly saying hi before chasing after her. We all sit on the couch and ease in on their conversation...

"Babe, what's the deal? It doesn't affect you, does it?" That was Niall

"YES NIALL, IT DOES AFFECT ME. I MEAN UGH LIKE WHY I AM I BEING TRASH OVER A POST THAT I DIDN'T POST" that kinda hurt my feelings but Bella is right.

"That's how directioners will be. Don't worry you'll get over it"

"When Niall, when? The directioners are great but they are mean sometimes. That doesn't not mean that I hate them, it's just....Why? Why, didn't anyone worn me that dating a celebrity would be difficult?"

"We can work it out?" Niall sounded as if he was crying.

"Niall it takes two for we and right now I don't know if a we can work" Bella was crying

"What are you saying? Is it over?" his voice cracked. Oh no...

"I don't know...I-I just need a lot of time to think and I'm pretty sure you do too" she huffs out. It silent for a second...then the two walk into the living room.

"Bye guys. Bye Bella" he tried to kiss her forehead

"Don't" she pushed him away with her hand and out the door he went. She stood there for awhile looking out the window until she heard the tires screech.

"Bella" Liam called which made Bella stop before she was about to walk up the stairs.

"Yea?" She was crying and I knew it. My eyes dart to Natalie and she was still crying...Liam got up and hug Bella then I did the same, one by one it turned into a bear hug but Bella still wasn't happy, she half smiled

"Thanks for caring but if I don't figure this out alone" we all nod stepping back to watch Bella walk up the stairs.

Bella's POV

It's still my birthday and this is how everything is happening? At least Niall took me out to have fun...when I think about it I giggle thinking of all our great times together. I sit on my bed and look out the window...

The time we met and how we didn't like each other at first then we started warming up to each other. How I did home schooling since we were on tour and how Niall helped me with the homework, including the first time we went into his dressing room for privacy, how everything went.
How Liam kissed me and Niall broke up with me and the way we made up at the air port and how I was kidnapped and the way Niall got injured to save me. The times at the hospital, when no else was there I did something special for him I rather no repeat or like the fight we just had now. I didn't mean anything did I? Grabbing my note book I begin to write everything, gluing in memories and bad times that turned into something great that were better than words...

When I think of it...Niall was always broken for trying to save me and I just broke his heart, I need to fix this as soon as possible...I quickly get up throw on shoes and climb out of the window. Quietly into my car to go to Niall....
