I woke up to the sun shining through my curtains. I got up and went to the bathroom to wash my face. After that I went downstairs to find my mom cooking breakfast, I guess she went to the store early this morning. "Hey momma, what are we doing today?," I asked. "Um, I think we are just hanging around here except for tonight the neighbors have invited us over for dinner," Kate answered. "Oh, okay," I replied, dreading going over there, after what happened last night.

I got into the shower and washed my hair and body. Once I finished, I got out and dried my hair then I applied some mascara and eyeshadow, to top it off I added a medium nude lipstick. I looked through my suitcase, I pulled out a pair of shorts and a cute top adding my white high top converse. "Honey, are you ready, we have to go," Kyle called up the stairs. "Yeah, I'm coming," I said, spraying some perfume on grabbing my phone. We walked over to the house with some salad my mom mixed up. The woman I saw last night opened the door with the same little girl in her arms, "Welcome, come on in," She said, opening the door for us. "I'm Victoria and this is my husband David," Victoria said, wrapping her free arm around him. Oh my god, David is definitely hot, even though he is older than me. "Hello, welcome to our house," David said, smiling at the end. "Momma, I'm tired!," the little girl in Victoria's arm said rubbing her eyes. "Okay Harper, Brooklyn will take you upstairs and lay you down for a nap okay?," Victoria said to Harper. Victoria excused herself and found "Brooklyn" to take Harper up to her room. David and Victoria took us out to the same deck I saw last night, once we all were settled down "Brooklyn" came outside with two other boys. Brooklyn cracked a smirk when he saw me, I smiled back deciding not to let him get to me. There was a open seat next to me and I bet you can guess who sat next to me. We finally ate dinner and after that we sat around just chatting. I finally learned the names of the kids, in order it's Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and little Harper. I could tell that Romeo and Cruz were going to grow up and look just like their dad, Brooklyn was sure to look like him. I was trying to listen to the adult conversation but I could stand to listen to it anymore so I struck up a conversation with Brooklyn. "So how old are you?," I questioned. "I'm over legal age sweetheart, if that's what you're wondering," He said smirking at me with straight white teeth. "Ha very funny," I replied disappointed that he was going to be cocky. "16 and how old are you?," he stated probably feeling bad for acting like a prick, I hope. "16, did you grow up here?," I asked giving him another shot. "No baby, I was born in Westminster, United Kingdom, how about you pretty girl?," He said leaning back in his chair, resting his arm lazily across the back of my chair. "I grew up in Florida," I said crossing my legs turning towards him. "Aw a Florida girl, I've heard things get pretty crazy there during spring break," He stated. "You don't know the half of it," I said, smiling thinking to myself about the few escapades I've been on with those who used to be my friends. "Oh, I don't? Enlighten me then," He probed. "I'd like to keep those a secret if you don't mind," I whispered, looking over at my parents who were engaged in a chat with David and Victoria. "Oh, the good girl went rogue?!," He said acting shocked. "I have a few secrets, we could indulge in later but now's not the time," I replied, looking into his eyes. "You have really pretty eyes baby," He stated with that same stupid smirk playing on his lips. How I would love to just kiss those plump, rose soft pink lips. "Thanks, you have nice lips," the instant those words left my mouth, my cheeks turned red. "Aw are you blushing?," He cooed. "No," I stated, looking down and away. "Hey," pulling my chin up with two fingers, "I thought it was cute," he said. "Ha, I bet you did," I answered. "All the better to kiss you with," He added. "Oh if I didn't know any better, I'd think you were trying to hit on me," I stated with the smirk on my lips now. "Ooo a smartass too, I like it," He replied winking. "So do you play soccer?," I asked just to change the subject. "Obviously from what you saw last night," He smiled. "Hey, I thought you were really good," I smiled innocently. "I'm good at other things to babe," He said and smirked. "Do you use that on every girl you meet?," I asked getting tired of his cockiness. "Maybe, maybe not babe, gotta find out for yourself," He stated. "Oh so is this the part where I act like a dumb blonde and say yes?," I replied. "Your move, Delilah," He said. It shocked me that he knew my name. "How do you know my name?," I questioned. "My mom told me that your family was coming over and I found out through my mom from yours," He said kind of out of breath. "Delilah, are you ready to go?," Kate asked, interrupting our conversation. "Yes ma'am," I answered standing up. "It was nice meeting you, Brooklyn," I smiled turning towards him. I stepped closer to him and slipped a tiny piece of paper in his pocket, smiled and left with my family.
