Hi, my name is kahlan and I live in ohio right now but we are moving to north Carolina so my mom can get a better job. We have been packing for a couple days now and I still haven't told my best friend Kai-leigh, so that's what I'm about to do. Let's hope she doesn't get to mad.
I walk out of my house knowing that today is the last day in it. I've already texted Kai-leigh to meet me at the park. I'm walking up and see her swinging on the swing (typical Kai-leigh). I walk over to her and I tell her to stop swinging for a second because I'm scared she is going to freak out once she knows and will let go.
"Yes what is it Kay?" She asked with a confused look. "Umm well I need to tell you something and that's why I made you stop swinging."
"Okai...." she says with a slight hesitation
"Okai well, I'm umm....I'm...moving...to north Carolina,"
"I was cut off by her screaming what, why, how could you, don't leave me!"
"Kai listen to me okai, im sorry I truly am but it's for my mom. She found a better job offer and well, to be honest we need the money kai."
"Its...it's...it's fine...it's okai, we will talk all the time and Skype and all that stuff. Will u still make musical.lys?" Okai says on the verge of tears.
"Yes, of course I will!" I say
"Kahlan guess who else lives in nc..." kai says with a smirk on her face.
At the same time we both screamed.."WESTON KOURY!!!"
It would be so cool if I ran into him there. I doubt we will go to the same school because well nc is a big state if I being honest.
"So how would you like to help me take pictures of my life here and print them out, so I can hang them in my new room?" I say with a smile.
"I would love to Kay!" She said in the most happiest tone she could use.
"Okai let's go!" I say
We are walking around taking pictures of grove city and the parks and people and friends of mine when we run into my ex, brad. He acts like he cares for me but I honesty doubt it, he is just a high school player. Yes I did date a freshmen even though I'm 13 but you know what LIVE TO THE FULLEST RIGHT!?
"Hey Kay, hey kai where and what ya doin?" He asks with a smile.
"We are going around the city taking pictures because Kay is moving and she is leaving later today to nc." kai says with a why the fuck you care look.
"No. Why are you leaving me here, is isn't fare!" He screams.
"Brad listen we aren't dating and we never will again so I'm not doing anything to you" I say looking very aggravated.
"Okai fine but know that I will miss you" brad says in a soft tone.
"
Whatever, goodbye" I say in a bratty voice.

So we finished taking the pictures about an hour after me and Bradley's conversation. We just got back to the house and while was gone mom has basically clearedbeverything but my room. So me and kai head upstairs and start printing the pictures. We get post in conversation and all of a sudden weston comes up again. We talk about him for a while then we see he is on YouNow. He says "it turns out someone is moving in next door because the sign is down, I can't wait to meet my new neighbors"
Me and kai just think it's a coincidence so we exit YouNow and keep printing. Once we finish printing we let them dry then I put them in a filer so they don't get messed up. We say our goodbyes and we promise to see each other every break possible and that we will never lose touch. I say goodbye to her while we drop her off at her house then, the day long journey begins.
