My brother Joey is in his first year of college. He goes to California University. He wants to be a doctor but personally I think he's way too immature for it.

I (not like other girls) want to be a pro baseball player.

My mom doesn't agree with the idea but Nick does. Nick is like my twin. We like the same things, we look alike too. He is not like other guys with many girls everyday. He's sweet, smart, and pretty cute. But, he's way too close to me. I could never date him. It would ruin our friendship. Besides, I know who he likes.

He likes Katie Robinson. I am totally like nick's other mom. Every time he has a new crush or a girlfriend I have to do a back round check. I have now came to the conclusion that Katie is a... yes. She's really nice and pretty.

I have a crush on my fellow baseball player Evan Lacrossee. Everyone jokes that his last name has lacrosse in it. He actually hates lacrosse. He's said he tried it but will never play it. I talk to him a little. I think we're friends but nothing more To Him.

"Mom! I'm going to the game!" I scream to my mom upstairs. "Ok sweetie! I won't be home until tomorrow. I have a doctor class at my work and I'm staying at Judy's for tonight. Oh and Mimi is coming over tomorrow afternoon, I should be back by then." She yells back.

I run out of my front door and as I walk out I hear my mom say to herself "she has a loud mouth" I laugh to myself and do a little skip over to the field. I see all my "homers" waiting for me. "Let's go Homers, lets go!" I scream to my team.

"Dani!" They all scream. "That's my name" I answer back.

We get ready for the game by sharing my eyeliner for our streaks. I make all the boys put it on. Like I said I'm the only girl on any baseball team so I get teased and whistled at. I just ignore all their taunts and play my butt off.

We won the game 6 to nothing without a sweat. "Woohoo go lucky bat!" I holler to Nick. My dad gave me this bat when I was 7, that was the day before he was pulled out to war.

By the time I almost get home its pouring rain and I'm stopped by a wet Evan. "You did a great job Dani" he says with a smile. "Thanks not too bad yourself" I say giving a smile back. "So Dani I was wondering if you wanted to possibly...goouttodinner this weekend or ifyoudontwannathenthatsfine. I reply with a calm "Sure,Saturday okay?" "Yea" he replies with a big smile. "Until them Madame Dani" he says then kisses my hand and heads toward the field.

I quickly run into my house and scream. "EVAN LACROSSEE ASKED ME OUT!!!" I screamed so loud I woke my brother Charlie up. My mom was right I do have a big mouth.
