My Book(ish) Life

The Accident

So sorry I haven't been able to post I have just been really busy with school and homework but I had a writing assignment for english and I thought that you might want to read it so here it is, The Accident.

I was furious I was trying to get my phone charged for the school day and tidy up my room when my dumb little brother, Jake tried to help and he stupidly unplugged my phone. "You ruin everything,"

I screamed "It's not fair."

"I was just trying to help I didn't know your charger would unplug," Jake yelled back tears in his eyes.

"Chelsea it's time for school," My mom suddenly yelled from the kitchen.

"Coming," I yelled back "With a dead phone," I said glaring at Jake "You're so lucky it's time for me to go to school."

"Sorry," Jake whispered. I dashed up the stairs, grabbed a piece of toast and ran to the bus.

When I got on the bus I plopped myself down next to Amanda. "Look what my Daddy got me last night!" she said with a smirk, holding up the iphone 7 that doesn't come out until next year.

"Cool," I reply jealous that she got a new iphone while I only had the dumb iphone 6. The rest of the bus ride was silent except for the occasional gossip.

Once we got to school I realised the bell was about to ring so I basically ran to my first class. I went through the school day as normal, three classes, lunch with Amanda and her squad then three more classes. Once the last bell rang I went home, called a few friends over, ordered pizza and put in a movie, Twilight.

When we finished the movie and the pizza everyone went home since my parents would be home soon. My parents looked super angry when they got home practically dragging Jake out of the car door. "I thought we told you to pick him up from school," my dad said as more of a statement then a question.

"Sorry," I said weakly. They were both fuming, I knew I was in for it. It's Wednesday and this is the third time this week that I forgot. Then again i'm already grounded what more could they do.

"Since you're already grounded we're not going to re-ground you," My mom said. Uh-oh these are never good, why didn't I just go pick him up then I wouldn't be in this mess. I glared down at Jake thinking about how this was all his fault.

"For the next month you have to get Jake from school and every time you forget we add a week to that," She finished. Dang it, I wish they would've just grounded me. I know i'm going to forget. I'm horrible at these things. I hate picking up the twerp. Scratch that I hate the twerp, he is ruining my life.

"Fine," I said under my breath as I stomped to my room. When I got to my room I got my dumb phone and started to play games and check instagram.

2 hours later I hear my parents yell for dinner.

"Coming," I yell back. We ended up having chicken noodle soup. All through dinner it was silent I just glared at Jake as he looked at me innocently. I really don't like this kid he always gets whatever he wants because he's the baby of the family. Once we finished dinner I called the flat screen t.v and ran down to put a movie in. I was a quarter way through If I Stay already balling my eyes out so I ran upstairs grabbed some popcorn and tissues ran back down and finished the movie. When the movie was over my parents told me I had to go to bed.

"Whatever," I whisper yelled, Jake was already sleeping, as I dashed up the stairs. I played on my phone for about an hour before I turned the light off and went to sleep for real. I dreamt of getting the new purse I wanted for christmas, though it was only October, I also dreamt of going to prom and winning prom queen even though everyone knew it would be Amanda who would win and I strangely dreamt of getting the iphone 7s and rubbing it in Amanda's face. That was a weird dream.
