Ch 2

The final bell of the day rang and I ran out of the door. It made me kinda sad knowing this is the only time Austin's going to talk to me. I mean I am a nobody so he will probably just end up with a cheerleader and on the football team. I shouldn't allow myself to get attached that easily.

"Hey." I turned around to see that it was Austin.

"Hey Austin." I smiled at him.

It wasn't my real smile because I was trying to ignore my feelings. I don't want to end up getting hurt.

"What're you doing after school?" He questioned

This normally ends up with the boy coming over everytime this question pops us. "Umm homework. Lots of homework."

"I could help you with it!" He offered with hope feeling his eyes.

I liked the look in his eyes when they lit up. There was a little sparkle in his brown eyes. I liked seeing him like that I didn't want to tell him no, and be forced to regret it.

"I'm busy after school. You can't come over."

My dad would have my head cut off literally if I had a boy in my room.

I hated my dad so much. I finally have a boy who wants to come over but he can't because of my stupid abusive drug addict dad!

"Oh okay." his once hope filled eyes now were filled with sadness.

I hated him looking sad. I don't know why I care because I know this is just going to end tragic and me crying over a heartbreak.

"Umm Austin actually yes you can if my dads not home."

"Oh well I get it you want to be a lone with me." He winked.

It wasn't that at all tho, it was the fact that my dad is abusive and makes my life miserable once something that makes me happy comes into my life.

"Yea that totally it." I giggled at him.

"Wanna race?"

I didn't really want to because that meant getting home sooner, and then I wouldn't have as much time with Austin.

"Oh your on Mahone!" I smirked at him.

He took off running with me far behind but I quickly picked up the pace. I finally caught up to him and I jumped on his back. He took me and spun me around and I was giggling.

"S-stop Austin!" He put me back on the ground while I was still laughing.

It was going to be so hard not to fall for this boy. His making this so hard.
