Never Knew I Needed (A Niall Horan love story... or is it?) (finally finished)

CHAPTER 7

~CHAPTER 7~

Malory's POV

I was by the pool with Liam and Zayn, and I thought "I haven't really ever spent time with them so I should hang out with them today." Liam was wearing black and blue swimming trunks, and Zayn was wearing green swimming trunks, with flippers, goggles, arm floaties, and an animal floatie around his waste. I was wearing a black two piece bikini with white dots, and little slices of watermellons on them with my hair up in a bun.

"Ok Zayn, are you actually gonna swim in the pool this time?" Liam said waiding in the deep part of the pool.

"Um... I don't know it looks pretty deep." Zayn said standing cautiously by the edge of the pool by Liam.

"Come on Zayn, it's really fun!" I said as I walked past him and slid my hand on his back as I walked by. I stood by the diving board and took a deep breath. I used to take diving lessons, now let's hope they pay off. I ran and jumped on it. I did a back flip in the air and landed perfectly in the water by Liam.

Liam held out his hands to keep the water from hitting his face and then he smiled as my head broke through the water. "See Zayn, doesn't that look like fun!" Liam said pointing to me.

"I don't know, still looks scarey to me!" He said as he stared at the water.

'Here!" Liam said getting out of the water. He then walked up to the diving board and began jumping on it. He then jumped in and shouted "canon ball!!!"

Water splashed me in the face and I got it all over my face and in my eyes. I tried to wipe the water out and eventually got my sight back. Liam looked at Zayn and Zayn just shook his head.

"I'll show you how you get Zayn in the water!" I whispered to Liam. Liam nodded and I swam to the edge towards Zayn. Look I understand your fear!" I said smiling.

"You do?" Zayn said smiling back.

"Yeah and LOOK OVER THERE AT THAT DISTRACTION!!!" I said pointing at a random place in the sky.

"What?" Zayn said looking to where I pointed. I then grabbed his hand and pulled him in. Liam stood there laughing, as Zayn sat there screaming and flailing his arms everywhere. 

Zayn shouted for help but I was determined to teach him how to swim. "Zayn just stand up!!!" I shouted.

Zayn stop screaming and stood up. the water went up to his chest. "OH!" he said blushing.

Liam and I stood there looking at him like he was stupid and then began splashing each other with water. Just then Louis, Harry, and Niall bursted through the patio doors with water guns and began squirting us. I then grabbed a bucket of water and hid behind the grill. I waited for someone to come near me and bingo! I dumped the bucket on someone's head. 

It wasn't till I dropped the bucket that I realized I had dumped the bucket of water on Niall!!! Just then Niall looked at me with a huge smile and grabbed me. He carried me in his arms towards the water and threw me into the pool. I landed in the water and then grabbed his ankle and pulled him in.

I stood there next to Niall and we stared at each other laughing and smiling. I then felt weird and swam away by Liam I got out of the pool and ran quickly to the sprinkler hook up and took out some water balloons. I filled up about five and carried them to the pool and hit each member of the band once. I threw the last balloon at Louis, and then he grabbed me and jumped into the pool with me.

"What's up with you guys and throwing me into the pool? I shouted while I was laughing.

"It's fun!!!" Louis said and then he got out of the pool and offered me a hand. We all dried off and Harry began grilling out. I sat down in a lawn chair next to Louis. 

"This was the most fun I've had in forever!!!" I said. 

"Yeah me too!" Louis said smiling. "Reminds me of when we were little!"

Niall's POV

The guys, Malory, and I were sitting in the tv room. Malory wanted to watch the Hunger Games, and I guess we thought we'd let her choose. Malory turned on the movie on netflix and sat down between me and Louis.

In the beginning of the movie I was very confused, but Malory looked like she understood everything. I'd ask her what was going on and she'd explain everything to me. I guess Malory wasn't all that bad. but still...

While we were watching the movie Malory laid her head on my shoulder. It felt weird, since we weren't exactly friends. When there were really scarey parts she would hold me tight and burry her head into my chest, which made me feel even weirder. 

During the movie Louis got up and made popcorn. Right when Louis left we were at the part where Rue got hit in with a spear. I heard Malory cry, and she laid her head on my shoulder again. I was very confused about what was going on and I didn't mean the movie.

Louis got back and began eating some popcorn, I turned my head and saw him looking at me Malory funny. I guess I don't blame him. It seemed strange to me too. I didn't want to move Malory because... I guess because I thought it actually felt nice.

During the part when Katniss foun Peeta  Malory was smiling and seemed happyand guess I smiled and too, and when Katniss and Peeta kissed for the second time I don't know what happened but I wrapped my arm around Malory and she laid her head on my chest. 

I then felt strange since her eyes were closed. I then began to sweat, and blush. I looked and saw Harry looking at me with his "I know what's going on here!" look. 

I looked at him and mouthed the words. "It's not like that I swear!!!"

He looked at me confused and I groaned. I whispered it back at him again. but he did the same.

I then took out a piece of paper, wrote it down, crinkled it into a ball, and threw it at him. He opened it up, and read it. He wrote in it and threw it back at me. It would of hit Malory if I didn't catch it. I read it and grew bright read. 

Harry wrote. "Yeah right! I see how you hold her close!"

I looked at Harry and glared at him. He just smiled and went back to the movie. I sighed and did the same.

Sorry Niall's POV was short in this chapter. I tried to make it seem kinda sweet though so he didn't seem like a total jack ass. :) lol
