Chapter 2 - The boardwalk ( Part 1)

I am so sorry!!!! I forgot about this for a while but remembered as soon as I got on out OW again. But for those of you who have read the story thus far thank you for your patience. I've had to do a bit of research. But thank you and I hope you enjoy! (And a reminder that I own nothing but the story. Everything about OW mentioned in this story belongs to the makers of OW and you, of course, belong to you.)

You woke with a start, thanks to an annoying buzzing sound that was relentless. You drag your arm out of the warm covers to slam onto the alarm clock on the nightstand. But no matter how many times you hit it, it won't stop. You decide that it might be best to get up and investigate.
You reluctantly take the covers off of you. You shivered when your feet touched the cold wood flooring and start searching for your slippers. You groggily for of the bed and started your search for the source of the sound...... Which you plan on killing as soon as it is found.
After a while of looking around you find the source to be a little device hanging on the wall a little ways from the front door. You shuffle your way to it and looked at the flashing button. "Front desk". You shrugged and pushed it. As soon as you did you heard the voice of the same desk woman from yesterday. 'Miss (Y/L/N)? Hello?' 'Yes I'm here. What is it?' You say a tone out two lower than normal cause you just woke up. 'A Miss Azia is here to see you. Shall I send her up?' 'Um, yeah. Send her up in 5 minutes please, thank you.' 'Ok Hun.' And then their was just static on the other end. You turned off the intercom and headed to your room to get changed. You look through your clothes and end up pulling out a (F/C) blouse and a black mid length lose pencil skirt. You grab a pair of pantyhose and grab your (F/C) peep toe heels.
You finished getting ready when the doorbell rings. You open the door to find a girl around 20 years or so old. She had red hair that was really short but had a long fringe on the left side. She also wared a black and pink shirt that had silver lining going across her chest. Black pants with hints of pink and white. Black and white boots that reached just under her knees. She also wore arm warmers. The most notable part of her though was the green cuff that was blinking pink that was on her left wrist. You couldn't help but sta stare at it for a bit before she spoke.
'Hi! My name's Azia. You must be the new resident huh?' ' um, yeah. Hi!' You smiled and gave a small wave. 'Mind if I come in?' She politely asks. 'Oh yeah! Sure.' You back up and open the door a bit more to let her in and then close the door. 'Sssoooooo, mind if I ask who you are and why your here?' She turned to you with hedges wide open 'oh! I'm so sorry. I'm Asia. Founder of OurWorld!' Your eyes pop open 'and I'm here to greet you! Oh! And to give you this.' She reaches to her back pocket and pulls out a card that was clipped onto a necklace, and hands it to you ' this is your new best friend. This is a resident pass. This little guy will get you everywhere.' You look at it in confusion 'but. Why do I need a pass if I live here?' 'Ahh. Well you see, OurWorld has ALOT of visitors or people who are just taking a vacation. You know, people who are just here temporarily. They actually outnumber how many people actually LIVE here. People who live here can go anywhere. But temporary people are a bit more constricted. You see, the system is kinda like adult swim when your at a pool. Everyone can be in the pool, but eventually, the little kids get out, and are let back in after a while. That way the temps get to be everywhere and the residents get time for themselfs. It's a weird system I know, but it's been working. And no one's complained.' You shake your head every now and then letting her know you're listening.
'So! Showing the pass let's the gate keepers know that you live here.' You nod your head one last time while looking at the pass 'well thank you. You didn't have to come here yourself' ' I wanted to! It's nice to see new faces every now and then' 'oh, well thanks again!' 'No problem! A word of advice though. Their is TONS to see here in OW. And since your a resident theirs no rush. I suggest that you explore every island at a time. You know, introduce yourself to OW. You never know what, or even who you might find.' You hum in thought 'i think I'll do that. Any pointer on where to start?' 'Ahh, you will want to go to the boardwalk. Awesome place. A friend of mine wanders around their. Zoe. You should try to find here while your looking around. She won't be hard to find, trust me. She loves to help people, so she'll probably going around asking people If they need help with anything.' 'Will do!' 'Yep! Well, I've probably taken up a lot of your time. So I'll leave you with whatever you do.'
'Yeah! Thanks for coming over!' You walk her to the door and open it for her. When she goes through the door she turns to you 'welcome again to OurWorld. Enjoy your time here!' She then leaves and you close the door. You stand their for a bit taking everything that happened in. You look down at your resident pass. Anywhere huh? She said to take it an island at a time, and suggested to start at the boardwalk. You think you'll do that!

This is not the end of chapter 2! Simply chapter 2 part 1. You will be seeing the boardwalk next part. So until I write that you guys can enjoy this first part!
