I feel someone reaching over my lap. I shuffle to let them know that they're going to wake me up. the person stops and waits for me to go back to sleep. once I do they wake me back up to do the same thing. I finally get up and I see rain trying to put my seat belt on.

"the plane is about to land put your seatbelt on" she says putting hers on.

I look at her as I put my seatbelt on. she was so perfect. I loved her and I've never loved anyone and when I looked at her it felt familiar. I love having her company because I can be myself and love her and she is apart of me if she likes it or not and this love that I feel, I will fight for until my last breath on this earth.

"hayes put it on please." she laughs as she catches me staring.

"sorry mom," I say but keep looking at her.

"I'm not afraid to poke your eye right now hayes." she says looking up from the motorcycle magazine.

"I can't look at my beautiful girlfriend?" I ask offended.

"not if your girlfriend is me." she smiles.

"you don't scare me." I say trying to be tough. she raises her eyebrows and sees I don't give in. then she smiles.

"finally someone who's not afraid to love me." she blushes. I look at her like she's crazy.

"who would be afraid?" I ask.

"boys who know that I can beat them up. they like being the 'dominate' one and it's like we're only 14 relax. but still they let go anyways." she says sighing but looking back at the magazine.

I grab her thigh and she looks at me."are we really those couples?" she asks.

"I'm not doing this to turn you on. I'm doing this so I can feel your skin on mine." I say.

"hayes Grier you will be the death of me." she whispers so I can barely hear. all of a sudden the plane starts getting rocky.

"wow." rain says holding onto her chair trying to calm down.i grab her hand.

"relax its just a little bit of a rough landing." I say smiling at her to keep her calm.

finally the plane gildes on the floor and I look at the window."okay folks, sorry for the rough landing, but we are now at our destination, Miami, Florida." the intercom says. I smile and look at rain. she's just looking at the sun.

"you know you're going to blind yourself." I say getting the carry on. she snaps of  of it and helps me.

"hopefully this will be our home forever." she says.

but only did we know it would only be a short trip.
