Montana grew up in a family that had done rodeos their entire lives. Her mom was a barrel racer and her dad did just about anything from riding bulls to roping calves. They met at a rodeo in Fort Worth, Texas and the rest is history, your typical love story. They had Montana a few years after they got married. They settled down on a large ranch in Whitesboro, Texas and started their lives. Anna, Montana's mom, started training and selling barrel horses along with giving lessons to kids. Ben, Montana's dad, worked on the ranch selling cattle and horses they they bred on the ranch and he still competed every once in awhile. Montana was two when her parents had her little brother Hunter. Now Montana is seventeen and Hunter is fifteen, and they both help train the horses and compete in rodeos. Our story will focus on Montana Faith Smith, the all around cowgirl and her life of rodeo and working on the family ranch, along with the troubles of a teenage girl in high school.
