She thought of him often.

As she watered her flowers and found the one he loved the most, as she fed the toads and strange animals, as she told tales to Celestia of their progress.

He never seemed to leave.

They had developed a new case of friendship, something much stronger and genuine. It was different from the rest of her companions. Just like her books, they all shared a part of her.

She loved his chaotic and silly ways, no matter how many times he made a mess in her home. Because she knew he was bettering and learning. And she was beyond proud.

But there was something, a small part in her heart, that yearned. For something she wasn't sure yet.

So as she stood there, with dreary eyes, leaning toward Discord, she let herself. Not knowing what was to come out of this, her body relented. It was beautiful.

Like a new chapter or fairytale as no sound was made, and as the sunlight shined through her windows.

And as quick as it happened, it ended.

Stupid stupid stupid

He had leaned back quickly, like something slapped him from his trance.

She too did the same, breathing out as her cheeks seemed to flush profusely. "Well, I better go, smoozey will be missing me. See you next Tuesday Fluttershy." With the rub of his neck, and the turn of his back he was gone.

She sighed, walking to her couch. "What's going on with me..."
She hadn't expected to catch such feeling towards him. It just grew through the years, and no matter how much she pushed it off, it would return every passing Tuesday. But he would never return it, so it stayed within her.

It was better like this, no one would get hurt and their friendship would last.

But damm.

She wanted more.
