The New Kid In Town.

Cameron's P.O.V.

Arriving at uncle Nate's house felt so new to me. We used to go here every summer but after our dad expose him, he forbid us to come here because he said and I quote 'I don't want my children to adopt his gayness.'. It happened 2years ago.

"Hey kids." Uncle Nate greet us at the front door of his house.

"Hey uncle Nate." me and Alex said in unison.

"Come in. We're going to talk inside."

We get all our things and head inside. The house is a Victorian style, 2 storey. Its cozy inside unlike our house. This is more home-ish.

"Ok. So what happened?" uncle Nate asked us after we put our things inside.

"I admitted to them that I'm gay."

"Why?"

"What why?" I asked confused.

"Why did you tell your parents? Did they asked you or saw you with someone?"

"No. I just said it to them. I want them to know. I thought.." I trailed

"You thought after all you've done to them, they will accept you?" uncle Nate asked then nodding my head as an answer. "Well, did you not know what they did to me? I did everything too but they still disowned me. But I also know how it felt to be in the closet. You guys can stay here, I'll manage everything. You are going to school on Monday."

"What?! But today is Thursday. Can it be next week or something?" I asked

"No. My house, my rules." Uncle Nate told us firmly.

And the Monday morning came like a flash. I can't even remember what we did last weekend.

"Alexander Cameron Granger! Wake up!" Alex shouted outside my bedroom door.

"What the hell Alex?!"

"It's Monday dipsh*t!"

"I know! But it's too early!" I said without glancing at the alarm clock.

"Early my ass! It's 7:30 stupid! Next time glance at the alarm clock!"

"SH*T! Why you didn't wake me up early?!"

"I've been banging your door for 30 minutes. Hurry up! I don't want to be late at the first day of class." she said then leave.

I take a shower for 10 minutes and dressed for 5 minutes. I'm like the flash in my room, running here and there.

"Cameron! Faster!" Alex shouted from downstairs.

"I'm coming!"

When I get downstairs, I grab a granola bar then say goodbye to Uncle then head outside to Alex car.

"You're so slow you know. Its 15 minute drive to school." Alex said while driving.

"Next time wake me early."

"Next time set your alarm clock, dumb ass!"

Shrugging, I just look outside the window.

When we arrived at the school, the hallway is empty. I guess we're really late.

"This is all your fault Cameron." Alex said, looking for the Administration Office.

"After 10 long years we finally found it." Alex said.

"Well, not my fault your dumb at maps." I said then Alex glared at me.
