Percy POV-
I decided to go home now, it's not like I have anything better to do, and I sure as hell am not going to visit there graves until after he leaves.

I pulled into the apartment,  and got out of the car.

"You coming?" I asked Josh, before closing the door.

"Ya, sure." He said.

He followed me passed the elevator, and looked a little confused.

"Aren't we going to use the elevator? You said you were on the top floor."

"Elevators aren't really my thing. Besides, elevators are for people to lazy to move there legs." I said.

After about 5 minutes, we had made it to my apartment.

I unlocked the door, and we walked in.

It was perfectly clean. I know what you thinking. What? Percy cleaning? I know, I was a little shocked myself. But it helps me keep my mind off things, and instead focus on how the hell in going to find a decently clean shirt without any blood stains on it to wear to school. I should probably go shopping soon...

"Do you want a soda?" I asked.

"...no thanks." Josh said.

He was most likely shocked I kept the apartment clean.

"Suit yourself." I said, walking to the fridge. It was filled with sodas and cold pizza. Not exactly the ideal meal for a demigod.

I grabbed a Coke and walked to the coach, Josh following close behind.

I sat down and decided to brake the silence.

"So..."

"Why Perce?" Josh asked.

My eyes hardened. That's what Leo used to call me.

"It's Percy."

"But..." His voice trailed off.

"No. It's Percy." I said, "A lot has changed in my life Josh."

"Can't we still be friends?" He asked.

"I don't think that's possible Josh. It's bad luck to be my friend." I said.

"To hell bad luck! We miss you Percy!" Josh said.

"Josh..."

"No. Percy, listen! We were all best friends, and then you just disappeared! You left with no note, no notice, nothing! Mr. Blofs wouldn't tell us anything! We knew nothing!

No one knew what happened to you, for all we knew, you could have been dead! And then you suddenly come back, like nothing happened. Did you ever think about us? About how we would react if you came back out of the blue? How we would feel if you shut us out? Did you?" He accused.

"I think you should leave." I whispered.

"Fine. Shut me out again." He replied.

I sighed an got up so I could drive him.

"No. I'll walk." He said.

I sighed and said, "Goodbye Josh."

"Why do I feel like this is the last goodbye?" He asked.

"Because it is. It's time to give up on me."

"I don't know if I can." Josh sighed and walked out of the door, shutting it behind him.
