Lachlan's POV

Hi there, I'm Lachlan, Lachlan Power. I have a massive crush on a nobody at school. That "nobody" is Vikram Barns. Some of his friends have came up to me and told me that he likes me. Of course I don't believe them. The only time I'll believe them is if Vikk told me. I wish it was true. Did I forget to tell you were in 12th grade? I'm saying this because it's halfway through the year and I still haven't told Vikk. I've known him since 9th grade. He always says that it's wrong to be friends with a nobody, but that's not true. Today is the day I, Lachlan Power, will tell Vikram Barn that I love him.

Switch to Vikk's POV

Hi there. Please listen to me if you care. My name is Vikk, well Vikk is just short for Vikram. My full name is Vikram Barns. I have a huge crush on a boy that I have no chance with. His name is Lachlan, Lachlan Power. He is friends with me, a complete nobody. He thinks I'm special, and he thinks I'm suppose to believe that. We've been best friends since 9th grade, and were in 12th grade at the moment. Today is the day I, Vikram Barn, will tell Lachlan Power that I love him. I hope I don't do something stupid that could ruin anything.

~Time skip to when the school day ends~

As I exit hell, ahem, school, I find Lachlan waiting for me. We're neighbors so we walk home together.

"Hey Lachlan."

"Hey Vikk."

"Wanna hang out at my place?"

"Sure."

While we were walking to my place, Lachlan's hand kept brushing against mine. I kept squeaking, gosh Vikk stop acting like a 12 year-old girl. We reached my place in the ten minutes we walked. Those ten minutes were filled with an awkward silence. I opened the door for Lachlan, me following soon after. Before he could do anything, I grabbed his wrist and made him sit on the couch.

"Vikk?"

"L-Lachlan you would n-never hate me, r-right?"

"Never. I actually wanna do something that might ruin our relationship."

"Me too, guess we're both talking risks here."

"How about on the count of 3 we do it at the same time?"

"Sure."

"3."

"2."

"1."

I was in complete shock to what happened next. I lean in to kiss Lachlan, and so did he. We kissed at the same time, with wide eyes looking straight into each other, we were looking at each other while we were kissing. It was like a scene from a cheesy romantic movie. When we pulled apart, our faces now deep crimson red, we both covered our mouths in shock, still with wide eyes looking at each other.

"L-Lachlan?"

"V-Vikk?"

"I've wanted to say this every since we met three years ago. I've had a massive crush on you. Your friends kept telling me that you liked me, but I didn't believe them. I, I love y-you Lachlan."

"Vikk, if there was a copy and paste option right now, I would use it. You have no idea how long I've loved you, well about three years now.
Your friends kept telling me that you liked me but I didn't believe them. I love you too Vikk, and one more thing."

"What is it Lachy?"

"Will you be my boyfriend Vikky?"

"Yes!"

We stared into each other eyes for what seemed like years, but I loved it. We were just cuddling, while we had our fingers intertwined, also watching a movie since it's Friday.

"Hey Lachlan?"

"Yes Vikky?"

"Wanna do that thing we did earlier again?"

"Sure."

He cupped my small face with his hands and leaned in. He brought me into a small yet loving kiss. I wrapped my arms around his neck, while he put his around my waist. Sadly we need to breathe so I pulled apart. I cuddled into him while he put a big blanket over us. I nuzzled my head in the crook of his while he whispered sweet compliments in my ear like 'your beautiful' and 'you have amazing eyes' and 'I love you so much.'

"I love you Lachy."

"Love you too my little shining star."
