Seven Years Later of Grief

[First Year: Refuse PT1]

Thrird Person POV

Missing the three dragon slayers from Fairy Tail... Everyone was shut down by the last, living dragon slayer, also known as (Y/n) Dragneel. She had enough money to care for herself and another boy named Lucas for three years.

But, looking at the boy reminded her of Natsu was so bright and living. So, in time, she went back into the guild and showed everyone Lucas.

"He's so much like Natsu, (Y/n).. I hope that Natsu is alive so he can see Lucas." Romeo complimented on the small child.

"That's why I came back. And for now, I need to be in the guild so I don't go insane. But, I'm sure that he's alive. Along with everyone else. And happy birthday, Romeo. Sorry that I didn't get you anything." (Y/n) told the now seven year old boy.

"It's fine! All that matters is that you're here now. I don't mind getting nothing from you, cause you're here!" Romeo told her.

"And you can stay with us as long as you want to, (Y/n). You're our family and we're your family." Macao said to the demon holding the small child.

Later on, the demon dragon had lost all the money so she could care for the little child she became to love. So, she started to take on jobs. A normal job and jobs that contain her not able to come back.

Night after night, the poor dragon slayer would scream in her sleep and the purple flare wizard would have to care for dragon slayer.

Day after day, she denied that her friends and family were gone. She refused to let herself think that their group on the island is gone.

The demon just wanted her husband and sister back.

[Second Year: Refuse PT2]

Two years passed. The widow dragon slayer still refuses to believe that her husband, sister and her second family members were missing. But, she couldn't leave Lucas alone. It was close to his birthday and she need to be there with him.

"I can't wait for this little guy's birthday. Everyone at the guild is excited for it!" Bisca told (Y/n), looking at Lucas.

"Either can I.. I can't believe that he's growing up.." (Y/n) said.

"He's growing slowly, (Y/n). Don't get ahead of yourself." Wakaba told the demon holding the child.

"Well, he is to me, so shush it!" The demon told the older man.

"Ma.." The child started to gurgle.

"Is he trying to say 'Ma?'" Romeo asked, walking to (Y/n).

"I think he is. He was supposed to say his first word months ago, but, he didn't. Better late than never, right?" The demon cheered excitedly.

"Hey everyone! Gather around (Y/n) and Lucas! His gonna say his first words!" The purple haired girl named Laki yelled out as she ran towards the two.

Everyone from the guild surrounded the two and waiting for the boy to say his words.

"Ma... Papa." The boy said. Everyone started to cheer, which made the boy laugh softly.

"I'm not a guy! Nor am I your dad!" The demon shouted.

"Well, I guess you are." Wakaba said, laughing.
